With less than a month until the year-end festivities, Tenraku and the girls at home finally enjoyed a few peaceful days. Every day was spent either developing and training with Akeno and Xuelan to enhance their Sacred Gear abilities or building stronger bonds with girls like Koneko-chan and Rossweisse.
In the evenings, Tenraku indulged in joyous fallen activities with Rias and Yubelluna. Even visits to President Sama’s room became frequent. Tenraku’s days couldn’t have been more delightful.
Meanwhile, news arrived from the Underworld. Unsurprisingly, Rizevim’s attack on the Underworld and the seizure of Agreas’s floating island caused a significant stir among the major powers. This time, no one doubted the accuracy of the intelligence Tenraku had brought back.
Leading the Angel, Fallen Angel, and Devil factions, the leaders of the major powers once again gathered to discuss strategies against Rizevim. Many decisions were made by these top leaders.
Although Rias and Sona briefed Tenraku on some of them, he hardly remembered any details. The only thing that left an impression was the proposal, previously suggested by Sirzechs, to establish a special team to counter Rizevim.
This proposal was finally approved, and Sirzechs and Michael personally contacted Tenraku and Rias, inviting them to join the team. Since Tenraku was determined to settle things with Rizevim, he didn’t refuse.
Tenraku, Rias, Sona, and their Peerage were all scheduled to be part of this special team. The selection of other members was still pending, and Tenraku would be notified once the details were finalized.
For now, there was no need to focus too much on Rizevim’s matter. After seizing Agreas’s floating island, that guy should remain quiet for a few days. What Tenraku was most concerned about now was another matter— news had arrived from the Vampire faction. The bodies needed for Ddraig and Albion’s resurrection were ready!
This news excited Tenraku. Ddraig and Albion had helped them a lot, and Tenraku had long wanted to do something for them. Without delay, Tenraku informed Rias and the girls, then decided to immediately head to the Vampire territory to prepare for Ddraig and Albion’s resurrection.
In the Kamiya Family hall, Rias and the girls were bidding farewell to Tenraku and Elmen.
“Tenraku, come back soon. We’ll be waiting for you at home,” Rias gently reminded him while tidying his clothes, much like a wife would do.
“Don’t worry. It’ll only be a few days at most. We’ll be back soon,” Tenraku reassured with a smile.
“Ddraig, Albion, I look forward to your resurrection,” Sona added.
“Hehehe…”
“Thank you, little princess of the House of Sitri. We won’t disappoint you,” Ddraig’s voice echoed, and Tenraku could sense their excitement.
“Alright, let’s head to the Vampire territory now. We’ll be back soon after resurrecting Ddraig and Albion,” Tenraku declared.
With nothing else to attend to, after bidding farewell to the girls, Tenraku and Elmen activated the Space Leap ability.
This time, apart from Elmen, Tenraku also brought along Raynare. A sphere of light enveloped them, and after encompassing Elmen and the three others, it disappeared, leaving no trace of their figures.
In a different dimension, within the Vampire territory, Carmilla City—
With a flash of light, Tenraku, Elmen, Raynare, and Walburga appeared on a high platform within the palace.
“Who goes there?!” Two female Vampire guards appeared suddenly, but upon seeing Tenraku and Elmen, their expressions changed, and they quickly knelt down to bow respectfully.
“We humbly welcome Holy Lord-sama.”
Observing the respectful demeanor of the two Vampire women, Tenraku nodded silently. It seemed that Katerea and Akasha had followed his orders and instructions well.
“Summon Katerea and Akasha to see me,” Tenraku ordered.
“Yes.” With a respectful reply, the two female Vampire guards turned into gentle breezes and dispersed, already carrying out Tenraku’s command.
Watching everything unfold, Elmen was a bit bewildered. She could understand the guards’ reverence toward Lord Tenraku, given that he had saved their Vampire clan. But what was with the title “Holy Lord-sama”?
As Elmen took in the surroundings, she was once again astonished. The high platform where they stood provided a panoramic view of the entire royal city. However, what caught Elmen’s eye was not the familiar city she once knew, but rather an overwhelming sense of unfamiliarity and awe.
At the center of the royal city stood a colossal God’s Idol, reaching toward the sky. In an instant, Elmen recognized God’s Idol as Lord Tenraku himself. Surrounding the God’s Idol were massive and majestic cathedrals, erected seemingly out of nowhere.
Many Vampires were devoutly praying in these cathedrals and in front of the gigantic God’s Idol, while Vampire pawns maintained order throughout the city.
Elmen felt as though she must be hallucinating. She couldn’t believe her eyes— her fellow Vampires, known for their cold-blooded cruelty and disrespect for the Gods, were now praying devoutly like believers before Lord Tenraku’s God’s Idol!
How could this be possible?!!!
Just as Elmen was immersed in deep shock and bewilderment, Katerea, Queen Akasha, Lamyahilde, Anpusha, and other Vampire elders hurried from the palace to their location—
“Greetings, Master.” Katerea, Queen Akasha, and the other Vampire elders bowed respectfully to Tenraku.
“Please rise.”
“Katerea, Akasha, you’ve done well.”
In just over a month, almost two months, they had transformed the entire Vampire royal city into its current state. Tenraku praised Katerea and Akasha for their performance, and their faces lit up with joy at his words.
“T-Tenraku-sama, what… what is all this…?”
Even the esteemed and proud Queen and elder Vampire elders referred to Tenraku as their Master. Elmen felt a violent shock to her understanding, and her mind was completely unable to comprehend what was happening.
“Lamya, as Elmen’s mother, why don’t you two catch up at home? And while you’re at it, tell Elmen everything.”
Without intending to explain personally to Elmen, Tenraku addressed Lamyahilde, who was nearby.
“Yes, Master.”
With a nod, Lamyahilde didn’t say more. Tenraku didn’t say anything else either; he just embraced Katerea and Queen Akasha and walked toward the palace, followed closely by the Vampire elders.
“Mom, you… you…”
“Elmen, I know you must have many questions right now. Let’s go home first. I’ll slowly explain everything to you.”
With a gentle smile, Lamyahilde stroked Elmen’s forehead, then gently led the still bewildered Elmen away from the platform.
“Raynara, please don’t tell me our bad guy Master has actually subjugated the entire Vampire race.” With her cute gothic-styled parasol, Walburga’s face was also filled with shock as she asked this.
“Is this already enough to scare you? You’ll be even more surprised in the future.”
“Let’s go. As a tool of our Master, you still have much to learn.”
Stretching lazily, Raynare spoke in a senior tone, then followed after Tenraku and the others, heading in the direction they had left.
Looking at the enormous and incomparable God’s Idol in the distance, as well as the praying Vampires, Walburga found it hard to imagine the magnitude of the shockwaves if these scenes were to spread and be known by those outside.
To have the entire Vampire race under his control and turned into his believers— it seemed that they had truly submitted to an extraordinary man…
