On the other side of the town of Auros, Rias, Sitri, and Sona continued their fierce battle against Grendel. Hundreds of small Heavenly Dragons flew around in the sky, assisting the two women in their fight, occasionally firing powerful energy waves at Grendel.
Although Grendel was known for having the toughest scales among the Evil Dragons, under the relentless assault, he sustained numerous injuries, looking increasingly battered.
However, these injuries only served to further excite Grendel rather than make him retreat. He was just a berserker with muscles for brains, roaring, tearing, and fighting until death!

Seizing an opportunity, Grendel disregarded the attacks from Rias and the other small Heavenly Dragons, laughing maniacally as he swung a fist towards Sona.
With a sinking heart, Sona quickly applied several layers of defensive magic to herself, but Grendel’s strength was simply too overwhelming. His massive fist shattered through the layers of magic and struck Sona.
“Aaaahhhhhh…”
With a cry of pain, Sona was sent flying like a meteor, crashing into a building hundreds of meters away, buried under the rubble.
“Sona!”
With a changed expression, Rias quickly unfolded her Dragon Wings in the air and flew towards where Sona had fallen.
Thump thump thump— the ground trembled, and Grendel prepared to pursue, but all the small Heavenly Dragons blocked his path, relentlessly blasting energy waves at him.
Flesh flew, scales shattered, and howling in pain, Grendel was forced to retreat.
“Sona, are you alright?”
Moving aside chunks of rubble, Rias found Sona beneath the debris and helped her up.
“I-I’m fine, really.”
Sona was pale-faced with blood trickling from her lips, although she insisted she was fine, it was clear that Grendel’s blow had injured her.
“Quick, drink this Tears of Phenex.”
Rias took out a Tears of Phenex, and Sona, no longer stubborn, drank it, her complexion improving significantly.
“This won’t work. Grendel’s body is too resilient. We’ll never defeat him without a more powerful and effective attack.”
Watching Grendel spewing flames and destroying small Heavenly Dragons, Sona calmly spoke.
“I’ve recently developed a finishing move that might work against him, but it requires a long preparation time.” Rias said after some thought.
“Then let’s use your finishing move. I’ll go distract Grendel. You prepare quickly.” With her wings of light spread behind her, Sona soared into the sky.
“Ugh… Sona, really, I haven’t even told you what my ultimate technique is.”
Sighing, Rias felt a bit speechless.
Although she was moved by Sona’s trust in her, even if she used her ultimate technique, she wasn’t sure she could defeat Grendel.
However, it wasn’t the time to dwell on these thoughts. Whether it would work or not, she wouldn’t know until she tried!
“Ddraig, my ultimate technique isn’t perfected yet. I might lose control unintentionally. Help me control the power.”

On the other side of the battlefield, Shinra Tsubaki led Sona’s peerage in battling a group of mass-produced Evil Dragons. Although the girls were at a disadvantage initially, after figuring out the attack patterns of the Evil Dragons, they quickly adapted.
They fought individually while maintaining coordinated formations, continuously eliminating one enemy after another.
Unleashing the extreme speed of her Knight form, Bennia flew through the air, her petite figure wielding a massive Reaper scythe, continuously attacking the Evil Dragons swarming around her in the sky.
Sometime during the battle, Bennia’s Reaper scythe had turned into a pitch-black color, emitting an aura of deathly gray. Whenever Bennia’s scythe struck an Evil Dragon, no wounds would appear on their bodies, but their eyes would quickly lose their luster, and they would fall from the sky like lifeless corpses.
Directly harvesting or even severing the souls of her enemies, this was the true power of the Reaper!
“Hǒǒǒuuu!!!”
Sensing the danger posed by Bennia, dozens of Evil Dragons roared and surrounded her in the air.
“Hā… Hā Hā…”
“Mr. Evil Dragons, I’m just passing through.”
Bennia’s eyes darted around, wondering if she could communicate with these Evil Dragons. However, whether they cared if she was just passing through or not, they launched attacks at Bennia, breathing fire and spitting lightning at her.

“Bennia!”
Several figures flew towards her. Nimura Ruruko and Hanakai Momo intercepted the pursuing Evil Dragons, while Kusaka Reya caught Bennia as she landed on the ground.
With multiple burns on her body, Bennia was injured, but not severely. Kusaka Reya quickly shouted towards the sky,
“Miss Valerie, please help us.”
“Ah… Alright.”
A bat flying not far away emitted Valerie’s voice. Soon, more bats flew from the distance, converging into Valerie’s figure.
Hurrying over, Valerie activated the ability of her Sacred Gear, the Holy Grail of the Secluded World – Sephiroth Graal. A gray light descended upon Bennia, swiftly healing her wounds.
“How do you feel now, Bennia-san?”
“Mm, it doesn’t hurt at all anymore. Thank you, Valerie San.”
Rising from the ground, Bennia regained her vigor and thanked Valerie.
“That’s great…”
Being able to help everyone with her power, Valerie smiled happily.
After exchanging greetings with Bennia and Kusaka Reya, Valerie transformed back into bats and dispersed around the battlefield.
“Bennia, let’s continue the fight.”
“Alright!”
