EPHS-Chapter 430 Fierce

Boom! Boom!

“Hooouuu!!!”

In the vast sky, Scarlet’s Heavenly Dragon and the pitch-black Evil Dragon were still fiercely battling, their violent currents spreading like hurricanes, filling the sky with explosive roars and dragon hums that shook the very heavens.

“Crom Cruach, you’ve become quite formidable.”

Hovering in the air, Scarlet’s magnificent figure was now adorned with black scars, a testament to the intense battle. Observing Crom Cruach on the opposite side, Ddraig displayed an unprecedented level of seriousness.

“I’ve been traveling between the Human World and the Underworld these years, gaining knowledge and experience while honing my body. Getting stronger is only natural.”

“Unlike you, Ddraig, who hasn’t progressed, and your power has noticeably decreased since earlier.”

Also airborne, the voice of Crom Cruach echoed from the pitch-black Giant Dragon.

“It’s inevitable. You’re still alive, but we’re already dead. Though our souls are preserved, my current form is just a body manifested by my partner’s Sacred Gear.”

“I used all my strength in our recent battle, but my endurance in this state is extremely unfavorable. This body is reaching its limit.”

“Crom Cruach, I’ll unleash all my power next. You should do the same. Let’s determine the winner.”

Descending with a renewed momentum, Ddraig spoke solemnly.

“Though it’s regrettable, it’s a rare stroke of luck to battle you here.”

“Come, Ddraig. I won’t hold back!”

A vast and dark Spirit Qi emanated from Crom Cruach, tinting the entire sky with darkness. Stars appeared, accompanied by the rise of a pristine crescent moon.

This was an illusion manifested by Crom Cruach, achieving the title of Dark Dragon of the Crescent Moon.

With a resounding whoosh, flames erupted from Ddraig’s body, instantly repelling the encroaching darkness.

“Let’s settle this—”

“Ddraig!”

“Crom Cruach!”

Under the horrified gazes of many, the two Giant Dragons in the sky flew towards each other.

One mysterious and dark, the other dazzling and magnificent.

With boundless might, sparing no effort, the two Giant Dragons collided in the air.

Then—

Boom!!!!

“Haha… Fight, Fight, Fight!”

The once vast jungle had turned into ruins as Albion and Grendel continued their intense battle.

As a true battle maniac, Grendel didn’t care at all, even though his body had been attacked by Albion, resulting in a gruesome display of blood and flesh. Relentlessly biting and tearing, Grendel’s muscular head seemed to only know fighting and killing.

With a whoosh, Albion dodged Grendel’s attack and soared into the air. Her radiant wings unfolded, releasing tens of thousands of Light Arrows towards Grendel.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Dust filled the air as countless explosions occurred. Hit by numerous Light Arrows, Grendel staggered backward.

“Ahhh… it hurts! It hurts!”

“Albion, taste my fireball!”

In pain, Grendel’s belly quickly expanded, and then, with a massive open mouth, a gigantic fireball, nearly a hundred meters in size, spewed toward Albion in the sky.

This attack was extremely scorching and it felt as if the entire space had been roasted into a blurry distortion, so Albion didn’t want to take it head-on. Immediately, she activated her ability:

“Divide! Divide! Divide!”

The enormous fireball continually shrank until, reaching Albion, it was completely devoured.

“Again with this ability, Albion, you’re cheating! You’re cheating!”

Seeing his fireball being devoured by the opponent, Grendel erupted in furious screams. With a disdainful snort, Albion couldn’t be bothered with him and spat back the flames she had just consumed.

“Ahhhh… it’s so hot! So hot!”

Howling, Grendel’s massive body was instantly engulfed in flames. The extreme heat melted the ground like molten lava, and Grendel, at the center of the flames, turned as red as molten steel.

If it were an ordinary being, its body would have been melted long ago. However, as an Evil Dragon, Grendel was too powerful. Even with his entire body burning red, it only caused him pain, without dealing fatal damage.

Albion was well aware of this and was preparing to send another energy ball to Grendel. Suddenly, a violent airstream struck.

“Ahhhh!”

Grendel’s colossal body was lifted off the ground, rolling and smashing through several mountain peaks. Albion stabilized herself in the air, continuously flapping her wings.

“Is Ddraig’s battle nearly over…”

Glancing towards the direction where Ddraig and Crom Cruach were fighting, Albion murmured to herself.

“Grendel, let’s end this battle,” Albion spoke while turning her gaze back to Grendel.

“End it? What a joke! I haven’t had enough yet!”

“I won’t let you escape, Albion!”

“Let’s fight, fight to the death!”

Hearing Albion’s intention to end the battle, Grendel was instantly infuriated. Getting up, he thumped towards Albion.

With a cold gaze, Albion also disliked this persistent fellow. In terms of strength, Grendel was naturally inferior to Albion, and from the beginning of the battle until now, he had been almost entirely at Albion’s mercy. However, this guy was like a rabid dog, no matter how many times he was knocked down, he would get up again.

Injured or bleeding, these things not only didn’t make him retreat but seemed to make him more excited and crazy. If he wasn’t decisively dealt with, he would keep bothering you. In that case, let’s completely destroy him!

Unfurling her wings, Albion released clusters of faint green poisonous mist. The range of the toxic fog expanded continuously, quickly enveloping the approaching Grendel.

“What is this?”

“Ahhh… it hurts! It hurts! My body is melting!”

Initially bewildered, Grendel, now wrapped in the poisonous mist, began to scream in agony. His robust body was actually melting!

This poisonous mist was Albion’s most basic skill, capable of annihilating everything except inorganic matter. The only entity in the world resistant to its corrosion was Ddraig.

Hovering in the air, Albion coldly watched the wailing Grendel as his body gradually disappeared, bit by bit, melting away…

To be continued…
