EPHS-Chapter 428 Rizevim

*Hōng Hōng!! Hōng Hōng Hōng!!!*

Above the clouds, Ddraig and Crom Cruach were already engaged in battle. The pitch-black Evil Dragon clashed with the Scarlet Heavenly Dragon, two colossal figures dominating the sky, stirring up storms and occasionally revealing their forms through the clouds.

Thunderous explosions, akin to thunderclaps, reverberated in the heavens, indicating the intense battle between the two Giant Dragons. It resembled the apocalypse, with fireballs falling to the town below, creating chaos in Tepes’ royal city even though it was just the aftermath of the battle.

“Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!” On the streets, terrified Vampires scattered in all directions. Meanwhile, Tenraku, Yubelluna, and the others prepared to return to the embassy building. However, Tenraku, leading the way, suddenly came to a halt.

Perplexed, Yubelluna and the others followed his gaze, only to see a silver-haired man, draped in a cloak, standing in front of them.

“Rizevim?”

Although it was their first meeting, the silver hair and somewhat similar appearance to Vali made Tenraku instantly think of this name.

“Oh, oh, the Red Dragon Emperor knows me. I am Rizevim Livan Lucifer. Red Dragon Emperor actually recognizes me! How delightful!” Rizevim, bouncing over to them, spoke in a tone befitting a young girl.

Even though he was an uncle, using such a girlish tone, Tenraku twitched the corner of his mouth, and Yubelluna and the others felt a sense of disgust.

However, upon hearing Rizevim’s name, the expressions of Yubelluna and the others changed.

Rizevim Livan Lucifer, the Devil who was renowned alongside Demon King Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub!

“Rizevim, you’re the one guiding the Vampire uprising from behind, aren’t you? And now, you’re the new leader of the Khaos Brigade?” Tenraku asked while looking directly at Rizevim.

“Red Dragon Emperor is quite knowledgeable. But I only provided Marius with power and suggestions; everything else was Marius’s own doing. As for being the leader of the Khaos Brigade, well, it’s inevitable. After all, Cao Cao and the others were kicked to the Grecian Underworld by the Heavenly Emperor. In such chaos, I had to reluctantly step up to lead the Khaos Brigade.”

“By the way, I’ve named our organization ‘Qlippoth’ now, no longer the Hero Faction. After all, I am a Devil, a bad guy. How can we still be called heroes? It’s more fitting to be called evil, right?”

“Right? Right?”

Though somewhat eccentric, Tenraku gained a lot of information from Rizevim’s words. Cao Cao had been sent to the Grecian Underworld by Śakro Devānām Indraḥ, and now, the one controlling the Khaos Brigade which was renamed “Qlippoth,” led by Rizevim!

“So, what’s your purpose in appearing here now?” Tenraku asked, not underestimating the opponent despite his frivolous demeanor.

“Purpose? Today, I don’t really have one. A few powerful dragons are fighting outside, and I just came out to watch the show. Didn’t expect to find the Red Dragon Emperor, so I came over to say hello.”

“Just here to say hello…”

Nodding, Tenraku’s mouth curled into a cold smile.

“To be honest, you are a troublesome existence for me. Moreover, our respective positions have destined us to be enemies.”

“Rizevim, do you think I should eliminate you right now?”

Radiating a dangerous aura, Tenraku truly wanted to eliminate Rizevim as a potential threat.

“Oh, oh, Red Dragon Emperor, are you trying to harm me? How scary, how scary!” Exclaiming, Rizevim continuously jumped back, pretending to be frightened.

“But—”

“Do you think I’m alone? You’re completely wrong!”

“Come forth, my bodyguards!”

Opening his arms, Rizevim eccentrically shouted.

*Hōng Hōng!! Hōng Hōng Hōng!!!*

Tenraku, Yubelluna, and the others felt awkward for this guy. After all, he was a legendary figure. Could he not be a bit more serious?

However, under Rizevim’s almost chuunibyou performance, two figures did emerge from behind him— a silver-haired youth and a petite girl.

The silver-haired youth was fine, but upon seeing the petite girl, Yubelluna and the others couldn’t help but show expressions of shock.

“O-Ophis!”

Even Tenraku’s expression froze. Indeed, the girl looked like Ophis. No, it wasn’t just a resemblance; it was an exact match!

“Gā Gā Gā… Are you surprised?”

“But she isn’t Ophis. She is the lucky girl we created using the power we seized from Ophis— Lilith.”

“Oh, using Mom’s name, but it doesn’t matter.”

Rizevim placed his hand on the girl’s head and introduced her identity to Tenraku and the others. Lilith, expressionless and silent, gazed at Tenraku and his group as if looking through thin air.

“Although she’s a little one, she’s quite powerful compared to the corrupted Ophis. She is my exclusive bodyguard, and I’m extremely grateful. Despite being tiny, her aura is formidable.”

Rizevim continued, and an indescribable pressure emanated from Lilith. The faces of Yubelluna and the others turned pale, and even Tenraku couldn’t help but become solemn. Although Lilith possessed only half of Ophis’s power at her peak, even with Tenraku reaching the transcender level, he probably wasn’t her match. Tenraku understood this without testing.

“This is Euclid Lucifuge. Does he seem familiar to you?”

“Yes, he’s the younger brother of the Silver-Haired Annihilation Queen!”

“Euclid is formidable too. The Lucifuge family has followed my old man for generations. However, after my old man’s demise, her elder sister chose to follow the new Lucifer, while he chose me.”

Rizevim introduced the silver-haired youth beside him, and Tenraku showed a hint of surprise. Euclid, with a cold demeanor that resembled Grayfia, emitted a powerful fluctuation of Magic Power. He was at least a Demon King-level powerhouse!

“How about it? My two bodyguards are impressive, right?”

“Red Dragon Emperor, do you still want to harm me now?”

With his hands on his old waist, Rizevim looked proud as he spoke.

“I’ll let it go this time. I don’t want to seek death.”

Shouldering, Tenraku replied bluntly. With just Rizevim alone and the addition of Lilith and Euclid, they would undoubtedly lose if a battle broke out. Tenraku naturally wouldn’t do something foolish.

“Gā Gā Gā… Red Dragon Emperor is really candid. I like young people like you.”

“Well, now that we’ve exchanged pleasantries, we should leave. Grendel and the others seem to be having a great time; we should go check it out.”

Rizevim patted Lilith’s head, and the expressionless Lilith followed him as they turned to leave. However, before leaving, Euclid spoke:

“Red Dragon Emperor, please pass a message to my elder sister, Grayfia—”

“If you can abandon the mission of Lucifuge and live freely, then I also have that right!”

After saying this, Euclid, without looking back, left.

Tenraku couldn’t help but laugh. This guy seemed a bit rebellious. However, looking at his own shadow, Tenraku thought there was no need for him to convey that message.

“Lord Tenraku, what should we do now?”

“Let’s go back to the embassy.”

“Yes.”

To be continued…
