EPHS-Chapter 424 Bold Palace Invasion

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

After Tenraku had taken away the “Light Wings of the White Dragon Sovereign – Divine Dividing” from Vali, he awakened the ability to nullify Sacred Gears. The source of this power is traced back to his grandfather, Rizevim!

Including Grayfia, none of Sirzechs’ Peerage members were Sacred Gear wielders. The reason behind this decision was to counteract Rizevim.

Regardless of whether it was an ordinary Sacred Gear or a powerful one, even the legendary “Tools that Destroy God – Longinus” would lose its effectiveness in the presence of Rizevim. It defied all logic! Facing an opponent who completely countered him, Tenraku indeed felt a headache.

However, it was just a minor inconvenience!

“Rizevim’s ability completely counters you, yet you don’t seem very concerned,” Grayfia observed, her brows furrowing.

“Why should I be concerned?” Tenraku replied with a confident smile. “His ability does counter me, but it doesn’t mean I’ll lose to him! Ah!”

While Rizevim’s ability was formidable and posed a significant threat to Tenraku, he knew there was a limit to it. Once that limit was surpassed, even Rizevim would be vulnerable to Sacred Gear attacks!

Recalling the original work, Tenraku remembered that Hyoudou Issei, after achieving the Dragon God form, barely reached the level of a transcender. However, it was a makeshift version that could only be sustained for a short period. Now, as a genuine transcender, Tenraku had no reason to believe he couldn’t achieve what even Issei did.

So, while Tenraku felt a bit of a headache, he wasn’t afraid of that guy. If they crossed paths, he was ready for a confrontation!

“This information is valuable. Well done, Grayfia.”

“Now, accept your reward.”

With a sly smile, Tenraku stood up and then lifted Grayfia, carrying her into the bedroom.

“I don’t need your reward!”

Aware of what this guy was up to, Grayfia’s cold and beautiful face turned into a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance.

“Hehe, my lady servant, this isn’t up to you. You’ll accept it whether you want to or not!”

Placing Grayfia on the bed, Tenraku caressed her cheek, and then…

Torn clothes!

Next day—

“Tenraku, are we going to rescue Valerie now?” Gasper, who had been eagerly waiting, clenched his fists with excitement.

“Get ready. We’re setting off now.” Patting Gasper on the shoulder, Tenraku said. Having gathered enough information about the situation in Tepes Vampire territory, Tenraku had no intention of wasting any more time. If those guys weren’t taking them to see Valerie, then they would go on their own!

Fully prepared, Tenraku, Gasper, and Yubelluna’s group left the embassy building.

“Red Dragon Emperor, do you have to report your destination?”

Initially, it was only Yubelluna’s group in action, but now that Tenraku appeared and a group of Vampires monitoring the embassy immediately blocked Tenraku and his group.

“Do I need to report my destination to you?” Tenraku led his group away and said with a cold smile on his face. Despite their grim expressions, the Vampires ultimately lacked the courage to act. While they weren’t afraid of combat and death, knowingly facing a stronger opponent would be downright foolish.

“Damn Red Dragon Emperor! Report to Lord Marius immediately!”

With a formidable presence, Tenraku, Gasper, Yubelluna, and others walked through the streets. Vampires around them cast hostile glares, but sensing the powerful aura emanating from Tenraku’s group, no one dared to step forward and obstruct them.

Before long, they reached the exterior of the Tepes Royal Palace.

“This is a forbidden area. Intruders will die!” A loud shout echoed, and hundreds of Vampire Pawns blocked Tenraku and his companions.

“I want to see your Majesty, Valerie,” Tenraku spoke up.

“Her Majesty, the Queen, is not someone you can see at will, Red Dragon Emperor. This is not your Underworld. Don’t dare to approach, or you will face immediate execution!” A leading Vampire sneered sarcastically.

“You do know who I am and yet you’re still talking nonsense. Quite audacious.”

“Well then—”

“You all shall die!”

Given the opportunity, they still dared to be arrogant. In response, Tenraku saw no need for courtesy. A vast surge of Spirit Qi erupted from Tenraku, charging like a storm toward the hundreds of Vampire Pawns.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!”

One by one, they screamed as they were tossed into the air. Nearly half of the Vampires crashed into the palace walls, turning into pulps. The rest, who were fortunate enough to survive, were left either injured or maimed, lying on the ground in agony.

Xuelan and Isabela stepped forward, exchanged glances, and simultaneously kicked.

**Boom!**

Two earth-shattering explosions shattered the palace’s main gate, adorned with various Demonic Being reliefs.

Mouth bleeding, the severely injured leader of the Vampire guards gritted his teeth.

“Red Dragon Emperor, how dare you trespass the Tepes Royal Palace! You’re dead! You’re—”

“Ahh!”

A miserable scream interrupted the Vampire guard leader as a beam of light pierced through his heart, shattering it.

“Raynare, at least let him finish his words,” Tenraku said, speechless.

“Hehehe… I’ll make sure to do that next time.”

With a bloodthirsty excitement on her face, Raynare shot another Vampire struggling nearby, ending its existence.

Not bothering with this twisted and crazed woman, Tenraku led Gasper and others into the palace, continuing forward.

Soon, hundreds of Vampire guards rushed towards them from inside. Yubelluna’s group was ready to act, but the opponents quickly spoke up.

“Halt!”

Slightly surprised, Tenraku and the others stopped.

“Red Dragon Emperor, her Majesty Valerie is willing to meet you. Please follow us.”

Breathing a sigh of relief, the leading Vampire quickly said.

Tenraku couldn’t help but chuckle. These guys ignored him when he politely requested an audience, but now that he forcibly entered, they were suddenly willing to accommodate him. Vampires could be quite contemptible!

“Lead the way than.”

Being a civilized person, Tenraku also disliked bloodshed and violence. If the other party was willing to cooperate, he wouldn’t resort to rudeness.

“Yes, yes…”

Not daring to delay, the group of Vampires promptly led the way.

Naturally, they saw the gruesome scene in front of the palace gates, but at this moment, they could only bury their anger and resentment deep within.

Damn Red Dragon Emperor, you will pay for this! Definitely!!!

To be continued…
