Deng, Deng, Deng…
Tenraku approached Elmenhilde and her companions, and with each step, their hearts pounded violently. A sense of danger, the most intense and deadly they had ever felt, consumed them.
Their Vampire instincts screamed in their minds, yet locked in Tenraku’s overwhelming presence, they could neither escape nor move, only watching as he approached.
Ignoring the two servant Vampires, Tenraku stood before Elmenhilde, looking down at her with a cruel smile.
“Elmen San, when I said I could wipe out your entire Vampire faction alone, did you think I was joking?”
Tenraku continued to speak with a cold smile on his face, “I possess the Longinus, the Gauntlet of the Red Dragon Emperor – Boosted Gear, and the Light Wings of the White Dragon Sovereign – Divine Dividing. My Juggernaut Drive can release their true forms. Among your Vampires, who can withstand the attacks of two Heavenly Dragons? Your True Ancestor? Your Queen?”
“I have the Longinus, the Demonic Beast Creation. I can create tens of thousands of high-class Devil Demonic Beasts. If I decide to attack you, how many high-class Vampires do you have to stop their advance?”
“I have the Longinus, the Fog of Extinction – Dimension Lost. The mist I release can engulf the entire territory of your country. Whether dead or alive, what means do you have to counter its ability?”
“I have the Longinus, the True Longinus, an invincible Holy Spear that can pierce through everything. Even gods can be slain by it. Among your meager Vampire ranks, who can withstand its edge?”
“In addition, I have many more Sacred Gears and their different abilities.”
“Elmen San, do you still think I’m being audacious, do you think I am joking with you?”
Like a thunder strike, Tenraku’s words resonated through the room, the silence became profound as Tenraku’s words settled. Elmenhilde and her two Vampire servants turned pale, their hearts trembling.
This man wasn’t boasting; he had proven his capabilities not long ago during the chaos in the Underworld!
If, if he truly decided to attack the Vampires, who could stop him? Who could resist him?
The invincible Heavenly Dragons, the relentless Demonic Beasts, the enigmatic Fog of Extinction, the indestructible Holy Spear…
If these forces were unleashed upon the Vampire world, it would be a scene of unimaginable despair!
“Ah… ahhh…”
Trembling all over and with her lips quivering, Elmenhilde was paralyzed by an unprecedented fear, causing her to render speechless. But Tenraku had no intention of stopping there.
“You Vampires once captured me, intending to use me as ‘Food’ or a slave, so I have every reason to seek revenge against you. Moreover, the most critical point is, I know where you are hiding.”
“Because…”
“I’ve personally escaped from there!”
With a smirk, Tenraku transformed into the most terrifying dark lord, surrounded by an aura of countless malevolence. His words were crystal clear: he possessed the power, the motivation, and the intelligence. If he wanted to annihilate the Vampires…
“Don’t!”
Faced with the survival of her race, Elmenhilde finally broke free from her fear. She couldn’t let this happen; she absolutely couldn’t let this happen!
“Why not? Elmen San, please tell me one reason why not.” Tenraku asked with a sly smile on his face.
“It was Tepes’ people who provoked you, not us!” Elmenhilde retorted passionately.
“So what? You’re all Vampires, and I’m not fond of any of you,” Tenraku replied. “Elmen San, do you realize how annoying your attitude was? Treating our comrade as a tool for use, acting all high and mighty. Even with my strength, I strive to be humble and modest. What gives you the right to act like that?”
“I really dislike all of you. I really hate all of you. So, I’ve decided to exterminate you!”
Such domineering words, spoken by an equally domineering man!
Elmenhilde was consumed by endless regret. If the terrifying enemy was drawn to Vampires because of her, she would undoubtedly become a criminal within the Vampire clan!
“No… Don’t…”
Having lost all composure, Elmenhilde’s eyes were filled with tears. Ultimately, she was just a young girl. Beneath her proud exterior, she was no different from an ordinary person.
“Why not?”
“I’ve decided, Elmen San. Let me start ruining the path of Vampires with you!”
Wearing a devilish grin, Tenraku extended a hand towards the young girl.
“Stop!”
Panicking, the two Vampire servants resisted Tenraku’s oppressive aura, desperately trying to prevent him. But could they really stop him?
Activating the Shield of the Dark Night – Night Reflection, shadows shot out from beneath Tenraku’s feet, entwining around the two Vampires.
Despite their struggles, they couldn’t break free. Meanwhile, as the demonic palm drew closer to Elmenhilde, she closed her eyes in despair. When she felt the touch on her forehead, a shiver ran through her entire body.
To die…
The room fell into a deathly silence again, but…
After waiting for what felt like an eternity, Elmenhilde didn’t sense any pain. Cautiously opening her eyes, she was greeted by a broad smile.
“How was that, Elmen San? Did I scare you?”
“It was just a little joke!”
“HāHāHāHāHā…”
Releasing the girl and freeing the two Vampire servants, Tenraku returned to his seat. Azazel joined in the laughter, while Rias and Sona facepalmed in silence. From the beginning, they suspected this would be the outcome. Tenraku’s penchant for mischief knew no bounds.
However, watching Elmenhilde, who had been arrogant just moments ago, now looking pitifully scared, brought a sense of satisfaction in their heart.
“Thank goodness…”
Sitting on the ground, Elmenhilde let out a long sigh. If she had been fooled like this under normal circumstances, she would have been furious. However, at this moment, all she felt was profound relief.
Even though what happened was just a joke to Kamiya Tenraku, if he had wanted to, he could have turned it into reality!
“Elmenhilde-Sama, are you alright?”
“I-I’m fine. I’m fine.”
Assisted to her feet by the two Vampire servants, Elmenhilde hastily adjusted her attire. Although the girl tried to maintain her composure, she couldn’t restore the commanding and lofty demeanor she had before. It was inevitable, considering the embarrassment she had just experienced.
“Elmen San, please tell your Queen that if she truly desires peace, we welcome it. However, if she has ulterior motives, using peace as a pawn, we’re not interested in your alliance.”
“Let’s conclude this meeting. I believe, Elmen San, you don’t wish to continue either.”
Tenraku spoke with a playful smile on his face.
“I will convey your words to our Queen.”
Casting a deep look at Tenraku, Elmenhilde responded. As Tenraku had said, she had no inclination to continue this so-called negotiation. All she wanted was to leave this place.
As a gentle breeze swept through, the three Vampire guests disappeared without a trace…
