EPHS-Chapter 411 Vampire Negotiation

In the hall, Tenraku, Rias, and Sitri Sona were seated together. It was a rare weekend, and with no need to attend school like usual, the three of them were leisurely enjoying some delicious snacks.

Sitri Sona and her Peerage had moved to the Kamiya Family residence a few days ago. Being already familiar and having experienced many battles together, the girls quickly integrated into the household, becoming accustomed to everything here.

Xuelan and Isabela invited Yura Tsubasa and Nimura Ruruko to join them in training. The sounds of the girls’ cheers and battle echoed from the training ground outside.

Though days of battle could be exhilarating, the tranquility of these peaceful days was also quite pleasant…

“Tenraku, the Vampires have contacted us. They will come to meet with us tonight.” Thinking about something, Rias informed Tenraku.

“Tonight…”

“Gasper’s been informed, right?”

Tenraku nodded and inquired.

“He’s been informed.”

“This is the first time Vampires have actively contacted us. So, My Older Brother hopes that we can try to build a relationship with them and bring them into the alliance.” Rias said after remembering her older brother’s instructions.

“Vampires are known for being proud and traditional, they are an extremely self-centered race. It won’t be easy to get them to join the alliance.”

“Moreover, their motivation for contacting us this time is likely not pure. They probably have some other hidden agenda.”

Sitri Sona frowned and cast a meaningful glance at Tenraku. Clearly, Sitri Sona was aware that something was amiss as the Vampires specifically requested to meet with Tenraku and Gasper.

Tenraku meanwhile remained silent and didn’t comment. From the beginning, he only intended to use this opportunity to resolve Valerie’s matter. As for whether the Vampires would join the alliance, he didn’t really care.

“I know this negotiation won’t be simple, but we’ll do our best.”

“Older brother instructed us. The three of us will represent the Devil’s side in this negotiation. Azazel will attend on behalf of the Fallen Angels. As for the representatives from the Church, they will send someone as well.”

Sighing, Rias explained, and Tenraku and Sitri Sona nodded in agreement.

Since Vampires are nocturnal creatures, the meeting was scheduled for the evening, and the location chosen was the Occult Research Club in the old building of Kuoh Academy.

Soon, evening arrived.

“Tenraku Sama, President Rias.”

“Hey, Rias, Tenraku, Sona Sitri.”

Azazel, accompanied by Gasper, emerged from the teleportation vortex. Tenraku and the two women greeted them.

Before long, the Church’s representative also arrived, it was a beautiful nun wearing a veil.

It was Griselda!

“Your Excellency Governor General, it’s been a while. And Princess Rias, Princess Sona, His Highness Tenraku.”

With a gentle and pure smile, Griselda greeted everyone.

But when her gaze fell on Tenraku, a few traces of infatuation involuntarily flickered in the depths of the nun’s eyes.

“Well, well, I am no longer the Governor General. Long time no see, Nun Griselda.”

Considering themselves acquaintances, Azazel and Rias exchanged pleasantries with Griselda.

As for Tenraku, he naturally didn’t want to appear too intimate with Griselda at this moment, offering only the usual polite words.

At this point, representatives from Angels, Fallen Angels, and Devils were all present. Apart from Tenraku and the others, Akeno, Yubelluna, and Shinra Tsubaki also attended. Xuelan and Xenovia’s group were waiting in an adjacent room.

Vampires were known to be punctual. They wouldn’t arrive early or late. Soon, the agreed-upon time for the negotiation arrived.

An unusual cold sensation enveloped the room, and everyone inside seemed to sense something out of the ordinary as they turned their attention outside.

“It seems that our guests have arrived.” Chuckling with his legs crossed, Azazel remarked, “Akeno, Yubelluna, Tsubaki, could you please welcome our guests?”

“Yes,” Rias instructed Akeno and the others, and the three women, standing by, saluted before leaving the room.

While the foreign guests were considered important, they didn’t warrant Tenraku’s personal reception. Having three Queens go to greet them was already a considerable show of respect.

“Tenraku-Sama…”

Gasper stood beside Tenraku and Azazel, his expression complex and nervous.

As a half-breed born from the union of Vampires and humans, Gasper, along with other hybrids, was considered by Vampires, who highly valued bloodlines and class, as nothing more than expendable beings, akin to livestock. In their childhood, Gasper, Valerie, and other hybrids were raised in a castle without any freedom.

Though Gasper’s personality wasn’t inclined towards harboring resentment against those individuals, he couldn’t deny the disdain and rejection he felt from them.

“Calm down, Gasper. You have no relation to them now. You are our comrade,” Tenraku reassured.

“That’s right. This silly boy is at least my disciple now. I’d like to see who dares to bully you,” Azazel added, patting Gasper on the shoulder.

“Tenraku-Sama, Azazel-Sensei…”

Feeling moved, Gasper found encouragement in the supportive glances from Rias and the others. The nervousness that had gripped him earlier seemed to fade.

“Rias, we’ve brought the guests inside.”

At that moment, Akeno, Yubelluna, and Shinra Tsubaki returned.

Though no figures were visible behind the three women, at the next moment, the room’s temperature suddenly dropped a few degrees as several figures appeared before everyone in an eerie manner.

Leading the group was a girl who seemed like a living doll, dressed in a medieval princess gown. The reason everyone perceived her as a doll wasn’t due to any ugliness or deformity. On the contrary, it was because of her excessive beauty.

Her eyes, nose, and lips resembled those of a Western doll, exquisitely crafted to the point where she lacked any human essence. It was as if an outstanding artist had spent a lifetime sculpting her.

Behind the girl stood a male and a female attendant. Perhaps as pure-blooded Vampires, their faces showed no trace of blood color but rather a pure and snowy whiteness.

“Welcome, guests from the Vampires. I am Rias Gremory, the younger sister of Demon King Lucifer and I am present here as the representative of the Devil in this negotiation, please have a seat.”

Rias stood up, showing proper courtesy, and Tenraku and Sona introduced themselves in turn.

“Good day, Demon King Lucifer’s younger sister, and Demon King Leviathan’s younger sister. Also, the former Governor General of the Fallen Angels and the Lord of the Two Heavenly Dragons, Kamiya Tenraku. I am Elmenhilde Karnstein. You may call me Elmen,” The Vampire girl elegantly adjusted her dress and finally spoke.

Although she was introducing herself and greeting them, there was an unmistakable air of arrogance emanating from the girl. It wasn’t deliberate, but rather a natural and inherent arrogance.

Moreover, whether it was a misconception on Tenraku’s part, when the girl’s gaze met his, he could faintly discern a hint of—

Disdain?

To be continued…
