EPHS-Chapter 406 Gabriel’s Nightmare

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

In the void, a graceful figure descended slowly. Twelve golden wings, a halo symbolizing Angels, and a faint hint of hymns in the air— the radiant light spilled into every corner of the room as if purifying all impurities in the world. The one who arrived was the legendary Seraph of unmatched wisdom and beauty— The Burning Angel Gabriel!

“Griselda, my Queen, did you… summon me?” Gabriel’s voice, as gentle as silk, resounded upon opening her eyes.

“Y-yes, Gabriel-Sama…” Griselda’s face displayed a mixture of intoxication and happiness as her head emerged from behind the curtain.

The air carried a faint scent of chaos, and Griselda’s appearance was unusually disheveled. Gabriel furrowed her brows and with a wave of her hand, the entire curtain was lifted by an invisible force.

Finally seeing the scene inside, Gabriel witnessed Griselda kneeling on the ground, while a man from behind held her body, exerting force vigorously…

What a filthy sight!

The pure Angel had never encountered such a fallen scene. Gabriel was momentarily stunned, then erupted into a towering rage.

“How dare you!!!” To defile her believer, to defile her Queen! This man deserved death!

Gabriel conjured a sphere of Holy Light in her hand, preparing to obliterate this deserving man. However, a sudden surge of terrifying Magic Power struck her from behind, catching Gabriel off guard and causing her to take a heavy blow.

Boom!

“Ah!!!”

With a resounding explosion, the entire church turned into ruins. Gabriel spat out a mouthful of golden divine blood and flapped her wings to ascend into the air.

Finally, she saw the figure that had ambushed her, the one who was still committing the obscene act on Griselda—

“Grayfia, Red Dragon Emperor, why… Why are you here?” Gabriel wore an expression of disbelief. The Silver-Haired Annihilation Queen, the miracle of the Phenex family, why were they here? Why would they ambush her and commit such an excessive act?

“Grayfia, capture her.” With an evil grin on his face, Tenraku, within the barrier, lifted Griselda, continuing to assault her while returning to Griselda’s chamber.

From the moment Gabriel descended, this place was no longer part of the real world. Everything here existed within Tenraku’s “Time Domain” and the “Fog of Extinction – Dimension Lost,” creating an alternate dimension. With a single thought from Tenraku, the church that had turned into rubble in the explosion blinked back to its original state.

“Why, Grayfia!”

“Why would you do such a thing? Are you trying to incite a great war between Devils and Angels?!” Gabriel questioned Grayfia with a furious expression on her face.

“I don’t need to explain to you.” Grayfia unleashed her Magic and attacked Gabriel with a cruel smile on her face.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of earth-shattering explosions reverberated from outside the church. In the sky, Grayfia and Gabriel engaged in a fierce battle. Inside the church, Tenraku continued to entwine with Griselda, bestowing boundless favor upon the beautiful nun.

Both sides fought fiercely, battling with all their might!

“Ah…”

Several hours later, Gabriel screamed in agony as she fell from the sky, marking the end of the battle.

“W-why, Grayfia, why…”

Covered in blood and incredibly weak, Gabriel struggled to lift herself when Grayfia landed in front of her.

“Are you still asking such pointless questions? You’ll understand soon enough.”

With a cold expression on her face, Grayfia cast another spell and Gabriel let out a pitiful cry and lost all remaining strength to resist.

One was the Silver-Haired Annihilation Queen and the other was the strongest female Seraph. In fact, Gabriel and Grayfia’s strengths were evenly matched. In a fair battle, Gabriel wouldn’t have fallen so quickly, nor would she have suffered such a miserable defeat.

However, she had been ambushed by Grayfia from the start. As a result, she was defeated step by step. It was remarkable that she had managed to hold out until now.

Unfortunately, in this world, there were no “ifs”. Gabriel had lost, and now she had to face her impending fate of domination and conquest.

There was no trace of sympathy or pity in Grayfia’s eyes as she dragged Gabriel towards the church…

“I’ve brought her.” Ignoring the fallen and wicked scene in the room, Grayfia tossed Gabriel next to Tenraku.

“Grayfia, can’t you be a bit gentler with the lady, an Angel?” Looking at Gabriel’s miserable state, Tenraku couldn’t help but be speechless.

However, Grayfia sneered, “Are you in any position to say that to me?”

Her gaze fell on Griselda, and a mocking expression crossed Grayfia’s face. Griselda’s eyes were vacant as drool dripped from her mouth, and her entire body was covered in filthy marks, looking completely broken.

Tenraku felt a little awkward. It seemed he might have taken things a bit too far.

“Undine, take Griselda, and let her rest for a bit,” Tenraku ordered the Undine Queen, who was beside him, extending his favor to his devoted subordinate. The Undine Queen made a strenuous effort to rise and then supported Griselda, leading her into the nearby bathroom. She intended to clean the fortunate yet pitiful sister’s body first.

Next, there were important matters to attend to. Tenraku no longer paid attention to Undine and the others, focusing his gaze on Gabriel.

This poor Angel had been suddenly summoned by his “Queen,” and then promptly ambushed by Grayfia. After a fierce battle, she had ended up in this pitiable state. At this point, she probably had no idea what had happened.

Tenraku sent a stream of Spirit Qi into Gabriel’s body, sealing her divine power. Then, he activated the “Smile of the Holy Mother – Twilight Healing” to heal Gabriel’s body.

She felt her entire body enveloped in a warm glow, and her once pallid complexion finally regained a hint of color. Gabriel whimpered and slowly opened her eyes.

“Red… Red Dragon Emperor…”

Remembering what had happened earlier, Gabriel’s heart was in turmoil. Subconsciously, she tried to distance herself from Tenraku, but her body went limp, falling into Tenraku’s embrace.

“My apologies, Gabriel San. Although I’ve heard of your great name for a long time, meeting you like this is truly regrettable.” Tenraku spoke while helping Gabriel to her feet.

Golden hair, a perfect face, and an impeccable figure with supreme curves— Tenraku couldn’t help but secretly praise Gabriel. She was truly deserving of the title of Heaven’s number one beauty, especially in her current delicate appearance, which aroused a sense of pity.

“What exactly do you want to do?!” Sensing that she could no longer access her divine power, Gabriel angrily demanded.

“There’s no harm in telling Gabriel San our purpose now. Due to certain reasons, I need Gabriel San’s power, and I intend for Gabriel San to become my Devotee.”

“Devotee? I believe only in the great Lord, and I will never believe in you, this Devil!”

Gabriel was almost inclined to believe that she was experiencing an auditory hallucination. A Devil actually wanted her to believe in him? What kind of joke was this?

“When Griselda was initially like this too. But please trust me, Gabriel San, you will definitely believe in me.”

With an evil smile on his lips, Tenraku instantly activated the “Demonic Words of an Angel” and implanted a “Seed of Belief” into Gabriel.

“What have you done to me?!” Because Tenraku hadn’t hidden his abilities, Gabriel clearly felt a strange power invading her body, no, her soul. She couldn’t help but be shocked and furious.

“This is the ‘Seed of Belief,’ a small method to make Gabriel San believe in me.”

“In the future, I might do some excessive things to Gabriel San, from your body to your soul. But please believe me, Gabriel San. Once you complete the transformation and become my companion and Devotee, I will sincerely apologize and compensate you.”

Holding Gabriel’s face, Tenraku said earnestly.

“No… No… Stay away from me!”

While he spoke of doing excessive things to her, he also said he would apologize and compensate her later. What kind of hypocrisy was this? Instinctively sensing great unease, Gabriel pushed Tenraku away and tried to escape. However, after only two steps, she fell weakly to the ground.

Futile struggling.

Tenraku shook his head, then grabbed hold of the Angel’s beautiful leg, slowly dragging her back…

To be continued…
