“Sona, from now on, you are officially engaged to me,” Tenraku said while holding Sona’s hand after the ceremony.
The blush on her beautiful face hadn’t faded for a long time and Tenraku could clearly sense the girl’s shyness and nervousness.
Well, even someone like Sona would probably react this way in such a situation.
“This is wonderful, Lady Sona. Congratulations,” Nimura Ruruko and Hanakai Momo, among other Peerage girls, sincerely congratulated their Queen. Several of them even had tears glistening in their eyes.
“Tsubaki, Ruruko, Momo, everyone…”
Accepting the well-wishes from her Peerage, Sitri Sona felt a deep sense of gratitude welling up within her.
“Sister-In-Law-Sama, I wish you and Onii-Chan eternal happiness. Please take care of us in the future,” Ravel said, giving her own blessings while adjusting her dress.
This clever girl was very close to Rias at home, and now with another official Sister-In-Law-Sama, she naturally wanted to cozy up to her as well.
“Please take care of me too in the future, Princess Ravel.” Sitri Sona smiled as she replied back. Such a clever and well-behaved younger sister, who wouldn’t like her?
“Sister-In-Law-Sama, just call me Ravel. Don’t be so formal.”
“Alright, Ravel.”
“Hehehe…”
Following Ravel, Rias also came forward.
“Sona, Tenraku, congratulations to both of you.”
“I wish you a happy and harmonious marriage.”
Rias looked sincerely, while Tenraku had a wry smile on his face. Akeno and the other girls were holding back their laughter.
If someone else said such things, it would be fine, but it was Rias, who was engaged to Tenraku just like him. If others heard, they’d surely think they were about to start a palace intrigue drama.
“Rias, I was just joking with you back then. Do you really have to hold a grudge and retaliate against me?” Sona’s face was filled with a hint of resentment as she spoke while gnashing her teeth.
“Hehehe… You yourself said back then that opportunities like this were rare. I couldn’t help but want to try,” Rias explained.
“Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore.”
“Sona, you really look beautiful today. Congratulations. Welcome to our extended family in the future.”
Unable to contain her laughter, Rias spoke again, this time with genuine sincerity.
“Rias…”
Sitri Sona was once again filled with emotion. They had been bosom friends, rivals, and good friends since childhood. Now, they were going to be sisters with a shared husband. Fate truly worked in mysterious ways.
“Hahaha… You truly are something, Kamiya Tenraku, even Princess Sona fell for you!”
“Congratulations, Kamiya Tenraku, Sona Sitri.”
Sairaorg and Seekvaira’s voices, along with their respective Peerage, came to offer their congratulations and blessings.
“Thank you, Sairaorg, Seekvaira.”
Tenraku and Sona also gave their thanks and returned the gestures.
“Sairaorg, you’re not exactly young anymore. Don’t you have anyone you’re interested in?” Looking at Sairaorg, Tenraku couldn’t help but laugh.
“I can’t compare to you. Let’s talk about this later. There is no rush, no rush. But, both of our new generation Heavenly Kings have fallen for you. Since Seekvaira doesn’t have an engagement yet, Kamiya Tenraku, why don’t you take her along too?”
These were all acquaintances and friends. Sairaorg didn’t need to consider and be cautious like he usually did so he spoke straightforwardly.
However, this guy let his true nature slip out the moment he opened his mouth.
Physically strong, emotionally clueless!
A few icy glances shot over, and that wild intuition made Sairaorg’s hair stand on end. He was in a cold sweat, heart pounding.
Rias and Sona managed to maintain a composed demeanor, though their gazes were chilly. At least they still wore smiles on their faces. Seekvaira, on the other hand, couldn’t be bothered with such niceties. She glared at someone with flushed cheeks, teeth gritted.
“Sairaorg, do you want to die?!”
“I-I’m sorry…”
Sairaorg broke into a cold sweat. Even after countless life-or-death battles with enemies, he had never felt such overwhelming pressure. Women were truly terrifying creatures, and it was something that Sairaorg realized today from the bottom of his heart.
Recognizing that Sairaorg didn’t mean any harm, and acknowledging his apologetic attitude, the girls eventually let him off the hook while Tenraku patted him on the shoulder in sympathy.
“Sairaorg, it seems like these matters are still a bit early for you. Give it a few hundred years, then we can talk.”
“To be able to conquer so many women, Kamiya Tenraku, I now truly understand how formidable you are.” Sairaorg wore a wry smile on his face as he spoke, and his gaze toward Tenraku held a deep sense of admiration.
Well, it was only natural. If you didn’t have the skill to win over women, how could you appreciate their beauty?
After Sairaorg and Seekvaira, many others came forward one by one to offer their blessings to Tenraku and Sona. Even Serafall and Sirzechs made appearances.
“Sona-Chan, just wait. Nee Sama will definitely rescue you from that despicable Sex Dragon Emperor’s clutches!”
“Nee Sama…”
Seeing her Nee Sama cling to her so tightly, Sitri Sona felt a mix of embarrassment and headache. She had only entered into an engagement with Tenraku, it wasn’t like it was anything more than that. She didn’t need any rescuing!
“Tenraku-kun, congratulations on your engagement with Sona Sitri.”
“However, even with a new engaged, don’t neglect Rias. Otherwise, as her older brother, I’ll have to have a ‘talk’ with Tenraku-kun.” Sirzechs smiled, but when he looked at Rias beside him, there was a hint of mischief in his smile.
“O-Older brother, really…”
“Don’t worry, Sirzechs-Sama. I will never neglect or abandon Rias!”
Rias’ face was bright red, and Tenraku replied with utmost sincerity.
“I trust in Tenraku-Kun’s promise. There are still many matters to attend to in the Demon King’s territory. Grayfia and I won’t linger until the end. If you have any concerns, you can contact us directly in the future.”
“Yes, Sirzechs-Sama.”
After exchanging greetings with everyone, Sirzechs and Grayfia prepared to return to the Demon King’s territory. However, in the moment they turned around, Grayfia’s lips moved imperceptibly. No one noticed anything unusual, but Tenraku’s eyes briefly flashed with a hint of intrigue before quickly returning to normal.
Next, they continued to receive well-wishes from the other guests and returned the gestures. When it all finally concluded, Tenraku’s face was stiff from smiling, and Sitri Sona was exhausted.
“Sona, do you now understand the hardship I went through back then?!” Rias chuckled and spoke after seeing Sona finally experience what she had gone through.
“Yes, I understand it deeply.”
With the support of their Peerage members, they both took a seat. Then, President-sama, with an air of deep resentment, looked towards Tenraku.
It was all this guy’s fault!
