Tenraku, Rias, and Ravel didn’t say their goodbyes to Sairaorg and instead took the shuttle back to their destination. Rias would return to the Gremory household to collect their “reward” from her mother, while Tenraku and Ravel prepared to return to the Phenex estate to confess their situation to their parents.
“Sister-In-Law-Sama, please take care,” Ravel said.
“Yes, you too, Ravel,” Rias replied.
As Tenraku and Ravel watched Rias board the train, the whistle blew, and the train started moving at a rapid pace, disappearing into the distance.
Just as Tenraku and Ravel were about to board the train to the Phenex territory, they heard Sairaorg’s voice calling out from behind, “Kamiya Tenraku!”
Seeing Sairaorg sweating profusely, Tenraku couldn’t help but laugh. Did this guy run all the way from the hospital?
“Sairaorg, aren’t you supposed to stay with your mother?” Tenraku asked.
“My mother is still weak and resting. The doctors say she’ll fully recover with some more rest,” Sairaorg explained. “Thank you, Kamiya Tenraku, for this favor. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life!”
“Don’t mention it. Just cherish your mother. You’re luckier than me,” Tenraku replied.
“Oh, I will!” Sairaorg said, relieved that his mother had finally awakened. He exuded excitement.
“By the way, our match is about to begin, right?” Sairaorg asked.
“That’s right. I’ve been looking forward to this day,” Tenraku replied.
“Hey hey, after saving your mother, don’t you want me to go easy on you and let you win?” Sairaorg teased.
“HāHāHā… If you do that, I’ll be disappointed,” Tenraku retorted.
“Indeed, if I don’t give my all in the match because of gratitude, I’ll regret it,” Sairaorg said.
“HāHāHā…” Both of them laughed, exchanging playful banter.
Their spirits were high, and they were both eager for the upcoming match. As a sign of respect for each other, they would give their all in the fight.
“Sairaorg, until our match, farewell,” Tenraku said.
“Yeah, farewell until the match!” Sairaorg replied.
Men didn’t need many words to understand each other. Tenraku and Sairaorg fist-bumped and waved goodbye as they entered the train, with Ravel by Tenraku’s side.
…
In the luxurious and spacious train compartment, Tenraku and Ravel were the only passengers.
“Onii-Chan, I’m a little scared…” Ravel said, sitting in Tenraku’s lap and speaking softly. She felt nervous and uneasy about confessing their situation to their parents.
“Don’t worry, I’m here for you,” Tenraku comforted her, gently caressing her forehead.
“Mm, Onii-chan, I like you the most,” Ravel said, gradually calming down as she held Tenraku tightly.
Indeed, being with Onii-chan always made her feel at ease.
“If you feel bored, you can sleep. I’ll wake you up when we get home,” Tenraku suggested.
“No, I don’t want to sleep. I finally get to be alone with Onii-chan, and I don’t want to waste it,” Ravel replied.
“What do you want to do then? Play games or chat?” Tenraku asked.
“While chatting and playing games are nice, we can do something more meaningful!” Ravel said.
“More meaningful?
“Kiss, Onii-chan, let’s try it again…” Blushing, Ravel spoke about what she considered to be a more meaningful activity. Since their last attempt at a kiss after they became a couple, Ravel had become infatuated with the feeling.
However, at home, she couldn’t find the opportunity as Kunou, the little fox, was always around. Now that she finally had some alone time with her Onii-chan, she couldn’t resist wanting to try again.
Amused, Tenraku didn’t refuse her request and lowered his head to gently capture Ravel’s soft lips…
…
“Welcome back, Lord Tenraku and Lady Ravel,” The news of their return had already spread throughout the Phenex estate. As they walked into the luxurious mansion, hundreds of maids and servants stood on both sides of the aisle, respectfully welcoming their return.
Having grown used to such receptions, Tenraku nodded at the maids and servants, and he and Ravel walked through the middle of the aisle. As they passed, both of them could feel the fiery gazes fixed upon them.
While in the past, the maids and servants respected Tenraku as their master, now it was more like they worshipped him. Tenraku might not be aware, but these maids and servants knew the extent of his fame in the entire Magic world!
He was the Demon King’s Younger Sister’s spouse, the master of the Two Heavenly Dragons, and the one who had defeated numerous legendary figures like Kokabiel, the former White Dragon Sovereign, and Norse God Loki. He had also made significant contributions in the battles against the old Demon King faction and the Hero faction.
They considered him the most dazzling miracle in the history of the Phenex family!
While Tenraku didn’t care much about these titles, Ravel was immensely proud of her Onii-chan. As they walked, she held her head high, which made Tenraku smile inwardly.
“Ravel, Tenraku,” A voice suddenly sounded, and a man walked toward them from the other end of the aisle.
The man had golden hair that reached his shoulders and a handsome face. Unlike Riser, who gave off a bad-boy vibe at first sight, this man exuded elegance, carrying an aura of nobility throughout his whole being…
He was no stranger; he was the eldest son of the Phenex family and the next in charge of the family— Ruval Phenex!
“Older brother!” Excited, Ravel ran up to him.
“Ravel, you look even prettier after some time. You’re almost catching up to Okaa-Sama,” Ruval smiled, and Ravel blushed.
Seeing her adorable sister like this, Ruval couldn’t help but feel fondness for her.
“It’s been a while, older brother,” Tenraku also greeted Ruval.
As the next in charge of the family, Ruval was already an adult and actively participated in Rating Games while managing many of the family’s businesses. Thus, he seldom came home.
Tenraku didn’t have many memories of his older brother, but he had a good impression of him. Although Ruval fit the image of a villain found in many anime and novels—handsome and elegant on the surface but perverted and dirty-minded inside—that was just a portrayal in stories. In reality, Ruval was a genuinely elegant and sophisticated noble. Before Tenraku’s rise, he was the pride of the Phenex family.
“Tenraku, I’ve heard about your accomplishments. You truly are a descendant of the Phenex family. If Aunty Tamako were still here, she’d be proud of you,” Ruval praised as he patted Tenraku’s shoulder.
Honestly, Ruval was amazed at how his once seemingly useless half-brother had grown to this extent.
“Humph, is older brother shocked? Onii-chan is super amazing now!” Ravel chimed in.
“Just empty flattery from others. Compared to Older Brother, I still have a long way to go,” Tenraku modestly replied.
“Tenraku, you don’t need to be modest. With you as my exceptional younger brother, I feel the pressure as the older brother,” Ruval admitted.
“Yup, Onii-chan has already surpassed Older Brother. Older Brother, you should work harder,” Ravel added.
“Mhm, Ravel, you’ve become so biased towards your brother,” Ruval teased.
“It’s not like that, not like that, older brother. I-I…” Ravel stuttered.
“HāHāHā… Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Are you both here to see Otou-Sama and Okaa-Sama? They’re waiting for you. Let’s go together,” Ruval suggested.
“Okay.”
