“Za-Zalama? What are you doing?” Mechikabura cried out in alarm.
But as a mere clone, he couldn’t break free from Zalama’s grip.
“Mechikabura, I was hit by Popo’s full-strength attack while breaking the seal, and I lost some strength. I need energy to recover. The dark divine dragon only healed me about ninety percent, so I need your power to fill the rest.”
“What? Wait! Zalama! We are companions! Companions!”
“Companions? What is that? Mechikabura, we are merely using each other.” Zalama said with a cold smile.
Fear gripped Mechikabura’s heart, and the once-mighty Dark King Mechikabura screamed like a mortal. [TN: I made a mistake in previous chapters where I mentioned Mechikabura as Demon God. He is Dark King.]
But he forgot that just moments ago, he had similarly used the lives of his subordinates.
Now, the situation was reversed, and Mechikabura was the one being used.
