A catastrophe that swept through the 12 universes finally came to a satisfactory conclusion.
However, to achieve this conclusion, there were many sacrifices across the universes.
Therefore, when Lin Chen and Broly returned to the planet’s surface, informing Jiren and others that everything had ended, the people did not show much joy.
Instead, they were more shocked by the revelation of the true mastermind behind Hearts.

After learning that Zalama might be involved with Hearts, Lin Chen became wary of the Dragon Balls. He had a premonition that Zalama might indeed be connected to Hearts.
The evidence was the appearance of Dark Dragon Balls causing anomalies across different timelines.
In this world, only the Dragon Clan and a few others could create Dragon Balls.
And those who could create Dark Dragon Balls with magical powers were even fewer.
Among them, Dragon God Zalama was the prime suspect.
Although Lin Chen didn’t understand how the sealed Zalama accomplished this, if it were true, the Dragon Balls couldn’t be used recklessly.
However, while the Super Dragon Balls carried risks, other Dragon Balls might be safe, especially Saiyan’s Dragon Balls, as Lin Chen himself had created them.
Thinking this, Lin Chen used Instant Transmission to find Paragus and others, instructing them to bring the Dragon Balls from Planet Vegeta for Jiren and the others to use.
As for Lin Chen himself, there were other matters he needed to attend to.
In order to deal with Hearts, they had wasted a lot of time in World 14, and now they were unsure of the situation on Time Patrol’s side.
In fact, during the battle with Hearts just now, Lin Chen had received an urgent communication request from Chronoa.

Then on Goku’s side, while dealing with the Dark Dragon Ball-influenced Majin Buu, they encountered a Demon Realm army.
Under the siege of the demonized Dark Buu and the Demon Realm army, Goku’s team suffered heavy injuries.
Gohan and Piccolo were seriously injured, and only Goku, relying on Ultra Instinct, managed to hold his ground.
However, the power of the bizarre laws mastered by the people of the Demon Realm left Goku helpless until Chronoa arrived with two other groups, resolving the crisis.
But the Dark Dragon Ball in that timeline was still taken away by the people of the Demon Realm.
