Lin Chen and Future Trunks, or Saiyan Prince Trunks, had a point of divergence in their worlds, which began when Frieza was preparing to destroy Planet Vegeta.
In Prince Trunks’ world, there was no Lin Chen, but at that time, someone else had discovered Frieza’s conspiracy in advance and made their own choice.
That person was Bardock.
Similar to Lin Chen’s world, Bardock in Prince Trunks’ world also gained the ability to foresee events after being attacked by the surviving warrior Toolo with the Future Punch during the invasion of Planet Kanassa.
However, unlike Bardock in the many parallel worlds, this world’s Bardock did not disregard the visions he saw. Instead, he realized that these events could potentially happen in the future and decided to make a choice to change the future.
Coincidentally, Bardock’s strategy was almost identical to Lin Chen’s.
Before Frieza arrived at Planet Vegeta, Bardock challenged King Vegeta for the throne.
Relying on the strength he had obtained through years of life and death battles, Bardock easily defeated King Vegeta who had been living in comfort and successfully became the new Saiyan King.
Under his command, all the Saiyans secretly lay in ambush on Planet Vegeta and, when the Frieza Force arrived, they suddenly transformed into Great Apes, killing the arrogant Frieza before he could react and transform.
Up to this point, the history of Prince Trunks’ world was almost identical to Lin Chen’s world. In his world, although there was no Lin Chen, the Saiyans were also liberated from Frieza’s control.
But then, the development of the two worlds began to diverge significantly.

However, in Prince Trunks’ world, a Saiyan Empire as ruthless as the former Frieza’s Empire was born.
After saving the Saiyans, the hero King Bardock did not cling to the throne. Instead, he chose to retire and handed over the throne to the most powerful Saiyan on the planet at that time.
While Bardock himself took on the role of the new king’s advisor.
Clearly, this new king was not as rational as Lin Chen and, under his rule, the Saiyans began to launch external conquests.

Legendary Super Saiyan Broly finally grew up.
Similar to Lin Chen’s world, in Prince Trunks’ world, Broly was also saved thanks to Bardock’s uprising and was not sent to another planet but instead remained on Planet Vegeta, where he grew up.
After growing up on the planet for over a decade, Broly’s natural talent gradually began to manifest, and he became incredibly powerful, unmatched by anyone. Even the Frost Demon race, once considered invincible in the universe, was unable to stand against him.
After Frieza’s death, his brother Cooler and father King Cold did not immediately strike back against the Saiyans. Instead, the father and son engaged in a prolonged war to seize territory.
However, the rise of the Saiyan Empire made them both wary, leading to the formation of a powerful alliance.
But shortly after the alliance was established, it suffered merciless attacks from the Saiyans.
And the one of them who attacked was Broly.
In the battle against Cooler and his father, Broly awakened as the Legendary Super Saiyan for the first time, easily slaughtering Cooler and his father, completely eliminating a formidable enemy on the Saiyans’ path to dominance.
Similarly, due to his identity as a Super Saiyan, Broly easily killed the then Saiyan King and became the new King Broly.
Without the obstacle of the Frost Demons, the Saiyan Empire entered a more glorious period, with no opponents on their path of expansion.
However, for other races in the universe, Broly’s rule meant the arrival of a nightmare.
In Prince Trunks’ world, Broly was completely controlled by his Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline since no one disciplined or restrained him, turning into a tyrant.
Every time he went on a campaign, countless lives were lost, and there were even entire planets reduced to ashes because of Broly.
It wasn’t until one person appeared that everything came to an end.
And that person was none other than the former Saiyan King, Vegeta III’s son and Trunks’ father—Vegeta IV!
“At that time, although Earth had been discovered by the Saiyan Empire, they looked down upon the weak strength of Earthlings and thus didn’t immediately send someone to conquer it. It wasn’t until Broly became the king that a Saiyan was ordered to go to Earth.”

But at that moment, on Earth, an organization called the Red Ribbon Army challenged Vegeta. In this organization was a genius scientist named Dr. Gero. Although the Androids he created were still far from being Vegeta’s match, they piqued Vegeta’s interest.
After obliterating the Red Ribbon Army with his formidable strength, Vegeta spared Dr. Gero’s life and had him continue researching Android technology on his behalf.
Vegeta’s intention was to see how powerful puppets could be created using human technology.
However, researching Android technology was not something that could be accomplished overnight. Therefore, while waiting for Dr. Gero’s results, Vegeta stayed on Earth as the representative of the Saiyan Empire.
During this time, Vegeta unexpectedly encountered a human female scientist and developed feelings for her. In the end, they had a child.
That female scientist was Bulma, and their child was Trunks.
