But he was not willing to admit defeat just yet; he clenched his teeth and persisted.
Under the pressure brought by Salari, his potential was being unleashed, and a more powerful energy erupted from within him, once again pushing back Salari’s energy beam.
“Huh?!” This situation caused Salari’s eyes to widen in surprise.
She had never expected that Raditz still had the strength to push back her ultimate technique.
Seeing Raditz burst out with such powerful energy, Salari’s interest grew even more.
She exerted her strength again, and the energy output from her hands increased sharply, causing the energy beam to expand once more.
Feeling an even more terrifying pressure coming at him, Raditz’s body was forced to retreat continuously, his expression filled with extreme shock.
Salari was as formidable as ever; this pressure was truly hard to withstand.
But as a Saiyan, and having always wanted to surpass Salari, how could Raditz admit defeat?
Since he couldn’t block this move head-on, he might as well deflect it.
“Ha!!!” Raditz let out a roar, and in the next second, he flung his hands violently.
The instant burst of force caused Salari’s deadly attack to change direction, flying off into the distance.
As luck would have it, this infinitely destructive energy beam headed straight for the bystander Talot.
“You two are really going at it passionately,” Talot murmured with a smile, quickly getting up from the rock and facing the oncoming infinitely destructive energy beam.
As the energy beam was about to hit him, Talot calmly raised his right hand, a white flame gathering in his palm.
‘Boom!!!!’
The infinitely destructive golden energy beam immediately shattered into pieces, turning into energy particles floating everywhere in the air.
Raditz and Salari’s bodies shook simultaneously as a familiar aura entered their senses.
They concentrated and shifted their gaze to Talot’s figure not far away.
“Brother Talot? You’re back from North Kai’s place?!!” Salari shouted in surprise, her expression thrilled.
“When did you get back? And you were so close by, but I didn’t notice at all!” Raditz was equally surprised and quickly flew to Talot’s side with Salari the next second.
“I just got back and saw you two sparring. You were so engrossed, if I interrupted, it would definitely affect you,” Talot said, closely hugging Salari before he turned to look at Raditz.
The changes in them were all seen by Talot after observing this battle.
In just three months, their strength had improved significantly.
Although still far behind him, they had achieved this by relying solely on limited resources on Earth.
Overall, the improvement over these three months was much greater than before.
Perhaps it was because of the experience with Frieza, or because of striking a proper balance between training and rest, or perhaps watching his strength improve, which stimulated them.
“During my absence, you guys didn’t slack on your training. Your strength has improved a lot, especially you, Raditz!” Talot praised.
Now, Raditz might reach 58,000 power level at full strength, which was Salari’s full strength three months ago.
A total increase of 13,000.
Salari’s power level should be around 68,000 points, an increase of 10,000.
“It’s barely passable. Compared to your strength, my power level is nothing to speak of. Unfortunately, I’d hit a bottleneck recently, and even gravity training didn’t help me break through,” Raditz said bluntly.
The next second, he looked at Salari and said, “But thanks to the fight with Salari, I did gain some insights and made a breakthrough. Thank you, Salari.”
His fight with Salari was precisely to use the pressure she brought to break through his limits.
“Alright, so you really were using me for training,” Salari said with a hint of annoyance, but she didn’t dwell on it. Instead, she asked Talot, “By the way, Brother Talot, how was your training with North Kai? Since you’re back, does that mean it’s over?”
Hearing Salari’s question, Raditz also pricked up his ears.
Talot didn’t hide anything and shared his experiences over the past three months, as well as his plan to take them with him.
His words shocked Raditz and Salari, and soon they were overjoyed.
They were currently at a stage where it was difficult to improve their strength. If there were new training methods or someone to guide them, they could likely make significant progress in a short time.
Especially after hearing Talot say that his power level had reached 300,000, they were even more convinced. If they went together, they might not surpass Talot, but they could probably reach the 100,000 mark.
“So, are you coming?” Talot asked with a faint smile.
“Of course! I take back my previous doubts about that Kai. From what you’ve said, that guy really has some skills,” Raditz said excitedly.
Salari simply nodded, “This time, don’t even think about leaving me behind.”
Talot chuckled awkwardly, as if he had ever intended to abandon her.
“Then it’s settled, but not right now. After being away for three months, I want to see Aunt Gine and Kakarot, and I also need to visit West City,” Talot said with a nod.
Raditz and Salari understood that even if they were going, they had to inform their family.
If they suddenly disappeared, Gine would surely worry.
Soon, Talot, Salari, and Raditz returned to their home at Mount Paozu.
Three months had passed since they last met, and it reignited a flood of emotions. Seizing the moment, Talot revealed their upcoming plans to Gine.
There was no danger; it was just about training to improve their strength. Gine didn’t object, but she did remind them not to disappear for years like last time.
They spent a day at Mount Paozu.
The next day, Talot took Salari and Raditz to West City, where they found Brief and Bulma, and naturally, Tights as well.
She had truly held back, staying on Earth and not venturing out again.
However, this time Talot noticed a new spaceship, clearly another one built by Brief.
Not knowing its purpose, Talot didn’t ask, as he couldn’t restrict others from doing what they wanted.
After a brief conversation, he didn’t rush to leave, as Bulma had latched onto him again.
He spent another two days in West City, taking it as a chance to relax and letting Salari and Raditz unwind as well.
For the past three months, they had been training intensely. Going straight to North Kai’s Planet to train wouldn’t be very effective. Instead, it would only make their already strained bodies even more strained, significantly reducing the effectiveness of their training.
…
North Kai’s Planet.
Three days had passed.
As ripples of space fluctuated, Talot brought Salari and Raditz across the boundary between the world of living and death, arriving on North Kai’s Planet.
“So this is North Kai’s Planet? Such a small planet, but the gravity seems similar to Planet Vegeta…” Raditz remarked as soon as they arrived and took in the surroundings.
He had never expected North Kai’s Planet to look like this.
In his imagination, North Kai’s Planet should have been incredibly vast, given that it was the residence of the administrator of the North Area.
Now that he saw it, the difference was too great.
Hearing his words, Talot roughly understood his thoughts. In truth, the original North Kai’s Planet was much larger than this.
He knew this, but Talot couldn’t say it out loud.
Salari, on the other hand, didn’t care much about the size of North Kai’s Planet.
Her attention was drawn to North Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory, who were walking toward them.
[So this is North Kai? He doesn’t seem all that impressive…] Salari thought to herself.
What she didn’t know was that North Kai had already seen through her thoughts.
For North Kai, the more she looked down on him, the better. Once the training began, he would make sure she understood just how amazing his methods were.
“You’re back? Good, I thought you would take at least ten days or half a month to bring them here,” North Kai said with a cheerful smile.
