DBEPV Chapter 94 Three Months of Intense Training! 10x Kaio-ken! (Part 1)

When their eyes met, the gazes of Talot and North Kai collided.

Although North Kai was wearing sunglasses, it didn’t hinder either from carefully sizing up the other.

In Talot’s eyes, North Kai appeared friendly and unremarkable on the surface, with a power level likely only in the thousands. However, he seemed shrouded in an intangible mist, making him elusive.

At the very least, Ki Sense couldn’t fully penetrate him, as if striking a ball of cotton.

This old man, North Kai, definitely had something up his sleeve.

The question was whether that event had occurred in this world. If it had, then it all made sense.

In the movie’s plot, North Kai had joined forces with the East, South, and West Kai to seal the space pirate Bojack and his gang on a border planet.

Bojack was a character far more powerful than Frieza in his final form. In the movie’s world, he overpowered the Z Fighters, and it wasn’t until Gohan transformed into Super Saiyan 2 that he was finally killed.

If North Kai’s strength had truly weakened due to the joint sealing, it was enough to indicate that his true power was at least in the hundreds of millions.

As more thoughts flooded his mind, Talot suddenly grew curious and eager to find out what kind of training North Kai had in store for him.

In North Kai’s eyes, Talot was already quite strong.

However, this strength was merely superficial, as Talot still had many areas that needed improvement.

If these areas could be filled, Talot’s strength would undoubtedly experience a significant boost.

Moreover, this improvement wouldn’t just be numerical; it would be a comprehensive enhancement!

In simple terms, Talot wasn’t able to fully utilize his current power level and needed his help. By then, even if his power level was only two or three hundred thousand, he could unleash the might of three to five hundred thousand!

Understanding the specifics, North Kai inwardly smiled.

“You’re truly remarkable, having elevated your strength to this level all on your own,” North Kai praised, aiming to build rapport.

Hearing this, Talot didn’t take it to heart.

He wasn’t fond of such flattery, as he knew his own strength well.

If one day he truly became invincible, then he might listen to some words of praise.

“Enough with the small talk. You already know enough about me. I’m curious, how do you plan to train me next?” Talot abruptly shifted the topic.

Hearing this, North Kai remained calm: “Naturally, I have a complete plan in place. I had thought you would bring along your little girlfriend and Raditz. Don’t you want them to receive my guidance as well?”

“I would like to bring them, but if you can’t even enhance my strength, then their coming would just be a waste of time, wouldn’t it?” Talot explained, then added, “If I make a significant breakthrough, then bringing them along later would be the safest bet.”

“I see, your thinking is quite meticulous. This is also why I took a liking to you. Your future achievements will definitely surpass even Frieza!” North Kai nodded.

Talot was surprised by his certainty, which also refreshed his understanding of North Kai.

In the original work, North Kai had seemed quite afraid of Frieza, always advising Goku not to provoke him.

“Then let’s begin. I’m ready to take on your training,” Talot got back to the main point.

“You’ve just finished running Snake Way and must have expended some energy. Are you sure you don’t want to rest before diving into the training I’ve arranged for you?” A mysterious smile flashed across North Kai’s face.

“Do you think it’s necessary? With my strength, a mere million kilometers is nothing. This level of exertion is trivial,” Talot replied without hesitation.

The physical exertion from running the million-kilometer-long Snake Way was completely negligible.

In fact, even if there was some exhaustion, the minimal energy consumed was replenished faster than it was used up.

After confirming this multiple times, the smile on North Kai’s face grew even more pronounced.

It was the expression of someone plotting something.

Seeing this, Talot felt a bit puzzled but immediately prepared himself inwardly.

“Since that’s the case, let’s begin the training right away,” North Kai locked onto Talot, pushed his hands forward, and a special energy instantly erupted.

‘Bzzz~~!!!’ Suddenly, ripples appeared in the space.

In an instant, Talot felt his limbs grow heavy, nearly causing him to lose his balance and fall forward.

“W-what is this??!!” Talot held his breath and suddenly exerted force, but upon closer inspection, his four limbs were bound with metal blocks made of strange material that did not hinder movement, but were incredibly heavy.

The weight of these metal blocks was significant, making even lifting arms somewhat difficult.

For someone like him, lifting hundreds of thousands of pounds with ease was no big deal, and even millions of pounds were manageable.

However, these blocks were not only heavy but also placed in positions that purely tested the strength of his joints, wrists, and ankles under ten times Earth’s gravity.

“The metal blocks I’ve attached to your limbs each weigh about 2 tons, totaling 8 tons. While 8 tons might not seem like much, the gravity on this planet is similar to that of Planet Vegeta, so it’s effectively ten times Earth’s gravity for you… Of course, I imagine this is nothing for someone like you who has undergone weighted gravity training. I’ll gradually increase the weight and gravity levels later,” North Kai explained to Talot while conjuring a hammer and tossing it in front of him. He then added, “Your first training task is to maintain your current state, without using ki or energy to enhance yourself. Rely solely on your physical strength to swing the hammer and hit Gregory.”

“Huh?!” Gregory pointed at himself, utterly bewildered.

Just moments ago, he had been hoping North Kai wouldn’t pair him up with Talot for training.

It’s really a case of fearing something and then having it happen; North Kai indeed assigned him to train alongside Talot.

Just as he was about to decline, North Kai shot him a terrifying look.

“O-okay…” Gregory replied, on the verge of tears.

“Tch… a mere 8 tons… even if it’s equivalent to 80 tons of Earth, so what?!” As he spoke, Talot began to move his body.

Though it was strenuous, his physical strength was no joke! His raw power far surpassed that of ordinary experts.

Soon, Talot was able to move freely and he bent down to pick up the hammer North Kai had conjured.

On his first attempt, it didn’t budge, leaving Talot utterly exasperated.

What the hell!

North Kai’s smile had definitely hinted at something.

Restraining the limbs is just the basics; this hammer is the main thing!

“It seems you’ve already noticed. That’s right, the hammer weighs 100 tons. With your strength, it should be no problem,” North Kai said nonchalantly.

Talot rolled his eyes, while Gregory broke out in a cold sweat.

“O-one hundred tons???”

North Kai chuckled: “So, you better be careful not to get hit, or the consequences won’t be pretty. But don’t worry, King Yemma won’t dare to take you in so easily.”

Gregory felt as if he had been sent to the execution ground, on the verge of foaming at the mouth.

“Relax, North Kai means for me to control my strength when hitting you. So even if I do strike, I won’t use brute force! And I certainly won’t go all out recklessly,” Talot understood North Kai’s intention.

Seeing Talot grasp his intentions immediately, North Kai nodded in satisfaction: “I thought it would take you some time to figure it out, but I didn’t expect you to be such a genius. That’s right! My plan is exactly that. Only by fully controlling your strength can you make greater progress.”

Gregory finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Talot, on the other hand, stopped talking and began to gather his strength, lifting the hundred-ton hammer.

Even though it was equivalent to 800 tons on Earth, Talot didn’t back down.

Swinging the hammer, the combined weight of the restraints and the hammer truly pushed Talot to his limit.

North Kai was indeed North Kai, instantly recognizing where his limits lay?!

So, this guy wasn’t lying or messing with him. He really could help him become stronger.

Swinging the hammer, though every movement was incredibly strenuous, Talot persevered.

Nearby, Gregory stayed on high alert, seemingly afraid that Talot might suddenly strike at him, especially considering it was a whopping 100 tons.

However, after waiting for a long time, Talot never actually made a move.

Talot was simply focused on his own training, adapting and getting used to the conditions.

This situation shocked Gregory and Bubbles, while North Kai grew even more pleased.

Indeed, Talot was neither arrogant nor impatient. He knew that directly attacking Gregory wouldn’t succeed, so he first stabilized his foundation. Once he reached a certain level, then striking Gregory would yield completely different results.

Half a day passed.

When Talot finally got used to it, he smiled and said, “Come, Gregory, let’s spar a bit.”

Hearing this, Gregory, who had been resting and munching on watermelon nearby, perked up.
