DBEPV Chapter 84 Powerless Rage! Want to be Strong? Then Go Train! (Part 2)

Even with a power level of 18,000, the gap between her and Vegeta was still immense.

“Watch out!! Salari!!!” Raditz exclaimed anxiously, his heart trembling as he hurriedly shouted a warning.

But what happened the next moment would remain etched in Raditz’s memory forever.

Vegeta unleashed a full-power Galick Gun, but just as it was about to hit Salari, she countered with a powerful punch that sent it flying into the sky.

Boom!!!

A deafening explosion shook the heavens and the earth. Flames covered the entire sky, and all the energy dissipated with the explosion.

This sight once again shattered the understanding of both Raditz and Vegeta.

“Impossible!! My Galick Gun… How could it be so easily deflected by you… You…cough!” Vegeta, now completely exhausted, coughed up a mouthful of blood.

At this point, there was no doubt he had lost the ability to fight.

The blow to his pride, combined with his physical injuries and the explosive surge of potential at the last moment, resulted in a power surge that put an immense burden on his body.

Now, even if he wanted to do anything else, his body would no longer obey him.

Salari refrained from delivering a finishing blow, and at that moment, Talot stepped forward. “That last strike of yours was impressive. To unleash such a powerful attack exceeded my expectations. But in the end, that’s all there is to it. Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed. Before coming here, I thought you, as the prince of us Saiyans, would have a much higher power level after all these years serving under Frieza.”

Talot’s mocking tone made Vegeta clench his teeth, but he didn’t dare retort.

His strength was indeed far inferior to theirs.

Meanwhile, in the ruins on the other side, Nappa had regained his composure and he shakily returned to Vegeta’s side.

He had witnessed everything. The only reason he hadn’t dared to approach earlier was his fear of being deemed useless by Vegeta.

Now that even Vegeta had been defeated, he wouldn’t be implicated.

“I must say, you’re quite pitiful. All of you are!” Suddenly, Talot said to Vegeta the words he had long prepared.

“What do you mean?!” Vegeta furrowed his brows, struggling to maintain his composure.

Nappa didn’t dare to interject, because the difference in strength was too great.

“I mean, you’ve been kept in the dark, unaware of the truth behind the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Not only that, but you’re also serving Frieza…” Talot said, narrowing his eyes. “Do you really believe that ridiculous and absurd excuse about the massive meteor collision?”

As those words left Talot’s mouth, Vegeta drew a sharp breath. Raditz and Nappa were equally stunned, as though struck by a bolt of lightning, their minds going blank.

Vegeta had suspected something like this before, but he had never dared to delve deeper—he wasn’t in a position to do so.

Now, hearing it from Talot, he suddenly realized the truth. Talot was ridiculing him for working for the enemy while still being so weak.

“Talot, are you saying… Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta?! Is that… true?” Raditz asked.

Hearing Raditz’s question, Talot chuckled. “What else? Do you really think a random meteor could appear out of nowhere without anyone noticing? And that it could wipe out the Saiyan race? Isn’t that laughable?”

“This…” Raditz was at a loss for words, his shock evident.

If what Talot said was true, then they had been working for their enemy all along, blind to the truth, mere pawns manipulated by Frieza.

Even Nappa, at this moment, began piecing together the implications.

Though he appeared to be all brawn, he wasn’t entirely brainless. He’d had his suspicions before, but every investigation had led to the same conclusion. With nearly three years having passed, those doubts had long been buried deep in his heart.

The atmosphere became extremely strange.

Talot didn’t plan to say anything further. He simply wanted them to know the truth ahead of time, to let them understand what had really happened.

The primary reason for revealing this? Talot wanted to see if they would become stronger in the future.

“Let’s go, Raditz. If you stay with Vegeta and Nappa, you’ll never grow. Join us, and you’ll become far stronger. I’ll help you.”

Talot’s words struck a chord deep in Raditz’s heart.

To become stronger!

Who wouldn’t want that?

He had never been respected by Vegeta and Nappa—all because he was too weak.

He wanted to grow stronger—just like Salari and Talot! He wanted the power to control his own destiny!

“Alright!” Having made his decision, Raditz nodded and agreed to go with Talot.

Receiving Raditz’s response, Talot nodded.

This was the final thing he had to do.

Perhaps changing Raditz’s current mindset would be troublesome, but many things change gradually over time.

If a person could be entirely changed with just a few words, then that person wasn’t worth nurturing to begin with.

Raditz was going to leave with Talot and Salari.

Nappa and Vegeta suddenly felt a sense of loss.

The two, who claimed to be a noble and a prince, found themselves momentarily at a loss for what to do.

“Wait! There are so few Saiyans left. Why not take us with you? Together, we could look out for each other,” Nappa foolishly asked, completely forgetting his earlier arrogance and greed.

Clearly, he had long grown tired of their current way of life.

Staying with Vegeta, especially without Raditz around, meant that all the work would fall solely on him.

A life like that was the last thing Nappa wanted.

He wanted to grow stronger, too!

As an elite upper-class warrior, he firmly believed he was not inferior to Talot or Salari.

If he could just gain the method to grow stronger, he even felt he could surpass everyone. At that point, his and Vegeta’s status would undergo a complete reversal.

Strength is supreme!

Whoever holds the greatest power controls the reins.

At Nappa’s plea, Talot and Salari paused briefly to glance at him. But neither spoke a word, choosing instead to ignore him.

What a joke. They had no relationship with him.

Even if Vegeta himself had made such a request, it wouldn’t have made them consider taking them along.

With no reaction from Talot and Salari, Vegeta began to get a little impatient.
