DBEPV Chapter 81 Rampaging Everywhere, Slaughtering Amond (Part 2)

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Amond was dressed in battle armor similar to that of the Frieza Force, but it wasn’t the official army’s battle armor.

One could say that many alien invaders across the universe had some sort of connection to the Frieza Force…

No! That’s not right!

It should be the Cold Force!

After Frieza succeeded King Cold, all forces in the universe either have dealings with the Frieza Force or relied on them to survive.

Amond’s squad was no exception, which explained their battle armor and scouters.

Looking up at Talot and Salari, a cold smile spread across Amond’s face.

He scrutinized them openly and, upon noticing the tails wrapped around their waists, immediately thought of a particular race.

“No wonder you were able to defeat my two subordinates so easily. So, you’re Saiyans! At such a young age, you already have such a power level. Could it be that one of you is the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta?!”

Amond was intensely intrigued by Talot and Salari, even mistaking Talot for Vegeta at first.

He had never seen Vegeta before, only heard of him.

After all, Saiyans were nearly extinct, and only a handful had survived.

From what Amond knew, someone at this age capable of effortlessly defeating his subordinates would have to be Vegeta!

Through his scouter, Amond saw Talot and Salari’s power levels displayed at nearly 10,000 each.

But instead of fear, he became excited as a bold idea suddenly struck him.

He could cooperate with these two Saiyans.

With such a high power level, if he could make use of them, even for a short term, it would be highly advantageous.

Moreover, he could make use of these Saiyans to establish contact with Lord Frieza. With his skills, he was confident he could earn a position of importance.

What Amond didn’t know was that Talot and Salari were already looking at him like he was a dead man.

Nor did he realize that the power level his scouter showed was only the surface power level of Talot and Salari.

Talot and Salari had mastered their control over their aura to the point where they could manipulate their power levels at will.

“Stay here and keep an eye on these Shaudians,” Amond left behind these words before slowly flying into the air to appear before Talot and Salari.

“My apologies for the foolish actions of my subordinates. They’ve offended those they shouldn’t have.

“If I’m not mistaken, you must be Saiyans. You’re the Saiyan Prince Vegeta, a Saiyan child rumored to have a power level over 10,000. And to my surprise, there’s also a female Saiyan with a power level over 10,000.”

Amond’s confident words left Talot and Salari stunned for a moment before they both burst into laughter.

It was truly unexpected.

“What are you laughing at?” Amond’s smile began to fade, replaced by a sinister expression.

He had been polite enough, but if the other party continued to disrespect him, he wouldn’t hold back either.

Even if their power levels were over 10,000, he wasn’t afraid.

After all, he has fought across the universe for years. How could two mere kids possibly outmatch him?

“Sorry, we normally wouldn’t laugh—unless we really can’t help it.”

“And uncle, are you mistaken about something? He’s not the Prince Vegeta,” Salari said with a dismissive smirk.

She then turned to Talot and added, “Big Brother Talot, it seems Prince Vegeta’s reputation is quite high in the universe. His power level is over 10,000 too.”

“Well, he’s an elite who was born with a power level in the thousands. Breaking past 10,000 isn’t surprising. If he hadn’t reached that, he’d be pretty useless,” Talot replied nonchalantly.

Their casual exchange caused Amond’s expression to freeze, incredulous.

“You’re not Vegeta, so you’re not part of Frieza’s Saiyan squad? Are you survivors from another group of Saiyans?!” Amond’s shock deepened as he spoke.

Having one Saiyan child like Vegeta with a power level over 10,000 was already astonishing.

But now there were two more Saiyan children with power levels that rivaled the Saiyan prince!

“So now that you know who we are, what are you planning to do?” Talot asked, his gaze fixed on Amond, amusement evident in his voice.

Hearing Talot’s mocking tone, Amond’s demeanor shifted. He quickly put on a smile and said, “I’ve heard Lord Frieza is particularly interested in the surviving Saiyans. If you choose to pledge loyalty to him, you’ll surely be given important roles. What do you say? Would you like to work with me? I can take you to meet Lord Frieza! Who knows, you might even surpass that prince in the future…”

Amond’s words made Talot reevaluate him.

This guy was brawny, so Talot had assumed he was the typical brawn-over-brains type. But it seemed Amond had some cunning after all.

“I’d guess you’re just looking to use us as a stepping stone, aren’t you?” Talot wasn’t naive.

Even if Frieza did value the Saiyans, Amond, an evil space pirate, certainly wouldn’t be so kind.

“It seems you’re not willing. In that case, there’s nothing more to say. You killed my subordinates, so I need an explanation. I’ll defeat the two of you and bring you to Lord Frieza myself. That will be enough to prove my worth!” Amond’s patience had worn thin.

Since Talot and Salari weren’t cooperating, he decided to take another approach.

He still believed that, even if Talot and Salari’s power levels were slightly higher than his, if it really came to fight, they were just children in the end.

“Brother Talot, why waste words with him? Guys like this need to be woken up with fists,” Salari said without hesitation, unleashing her aura in full force.

She was curious to see how strong Amond truly was to be so confident.

As Salari’s power surged, Amond became serious as well.

“Even if my power level is only 9,100, you two are still far too arrogant!!”

Enraged, Amond leapt into the air above Talot and Salari, launching an energy attack straight at Salari.

The fight erupted without further warning.

From their hiding place on the ground, Jaco and Tights broke into a cold sweat as they watched.

The sheer power of Amond’s attack was terrifying—on the level of destroying a planet.

On a small planet like Shaudi, if that energy hit directly, the damage would be catastrophic.

But to Talot and Salari, this level of attack was no more than a tickle.

“This level of attack isn’t even worth dodging,” Salari said with a confident smile, her aura forming an invisible shield in front of her.

As Amond’s energy attack approached, it was nullified by Salari’s invisible energy shield.

Salari’s techniques were mostly taught by Talot from their years of sparring, and this move was no exception.

“What?!” Amond shouted in disbelief.

He had just unleashed nearly 80% of his power, fearing that he might accidentally kill these two Saiyans.

Yet here they were, completely unharmed, having blocked it effortlessly.
