The Grand Elder watched quietly without interrupting.

Beside him, Ragar was a bit nervous. However, after being stopped by the Grand Elder, he remained quiet and watched from the side.

As a bodyguard, his duty was to protect the Grand Elder.

While operating the device, Talot recalled the events that led to this moment. If he hadn’t experienced it firsthand, he would never have believed in the possibility of interstellar communication.

A little over a month ago, Kami had reached out to him, hoping he and Brief could lend their assistance. And that request led to this moment.

Talot wasn’t one to refuse a reasonable request, especially since Kami, although not helping him much, did provide some assistance. Therefore, he was willing to help with this small matter.

Placing the interstellar video communication device on the ground, Talot quickly powered it on.

Following the instructions he remembered, he set it up. Across the vast distance on Earth’s Lookout, Popo reminded Kami, who hurried to the device.

For the past two days, he and Popo had been anxiously awaiting any news from Talot.

Now that it had arrived, Popo felt joy for Kami, while Kami himself was so moved that his eyes welled up with tears.

Though he couldn’t return to his homeland, this moment had finally come. He could see his people and his homeworld.

Using the virtual video communication technology, the projections of Grand Elder and Kami appeared in front of each other’s devices.

And so, the two Namekians, separated by an unknown number of light-years, appeared face-to-face.

It was as if they were standing right in front of each other—only lacking the ability to touch.

The atmosphere grew subtly emotional.

Talot and Salari said nothing, and Ragar, though astonished, also remained silent.

Looking at Kami, Ragar felt an indescribable blend of familiarity and strangeness.

“I see. You’re the child who was sent to Earth during the great disaster back then. Your father must have been Katas. Even though you’re old now, you look just like him…”

“I am the Grand Elder of Namek, child. Though separated by a great distance, I could always feel that somewhere out there, there were still other Namekians alive.”

The Grand Elder spoke in a gentle tone.

It seemed that seeing Kami had eased the deep-seated pain in his heart, making him suddenly feel younger.

“Grand Elder-sama, you can call me Piccolo. It’s truly wonderful to meet you,” said Kami respectfully, bowing to the Grand Elder.

At this moment, he was not Kami, but Namekian Piccolo.

And so, the two began to converse, reminiscing about the past. Kami wanted to know more about Namek’s past and current situation, while the Grand Elder was eager to learn about Kami’s life on Earth.

When he learned that Piccolo had become the Kami of Earth, the Grand Elder felt proud, encouraging him to remain on Earth. Even though they are separated by a great distance, they can now communicate telepathically.

This is the strength of the Namekians.

The interstellar conversation lasted nearly a quarter of an hour.

During their exchange, the Grand Elder also learned from Kami why Talot and Salari had come.

To find his family, Talot hoped to use the Eternal Dragon of Planet Namek to make a wish and see if they could bring back their missing family member.

After the interstellar communication device shut off, a brief silence fell over the group, and the Grand Elder turned his gaze back to Talot and Salari.

“As for the Dragon Balls, I will contact the elders of each village and have them bring the Dragon Balls under their care here. However, I cannot fully guarantee that your wish can be fulfilled,” the Grand Elder said.

His willingness to offer the Dragon Balls likely stemmed from gratitude toward Talot for helping him meet Piccolo and resolve the knot in his heart.

Talot, though partly expecting such an outcome, was nonetheless surprised by how smoothly it all went. “Thank you, Grand Elder,” he expressed sincerely. After a brief moment of thought, he added, “By the way, Grand Elder, you possess so many incredible abilities. I wonder if there might be one that might be of help to me?”

Talot asked politely.

“Feel free to ask. If I can help, I won’t refuse,” the Grand Elder replied with a smile.

“Then, I’ll be straightforward,” Talot said. “Grand Elder, do you perhaps have the ability to unlock a person’s potential? If so, could you unlock the potential for both me and Salari?” He inquired in a probing tone, avoiding directly stating his knowledge of the ability.

After all, this ability was something he only knew from the original work.

Hearing this, a hint of surprise flickered in the Grand Elder’s eyes.

He hadn’t expected this Saiyan child to be so clever.

Thoughtful, yet respectful, Talot showed no hint of forcefulness, but he also made it hard to refuse or mislead him.

Such a level of communication was not at all what one would expect from a child.

【Perhaps this child might one day be Namek’s savior…】

For the Grand Elder, during his remaining years of life, building good relationships would allow Namek to seek outside help in overcoming any major crises that might arise in the future.

Having foreseen the future, the Grand Elder had glimpsed the Namekians’ future. Although it was only a small part, he understood that a calamity wasn’t far off.

“I can see that there’s great potential within both of you, and I do have a way to unlock it.

“But unfortunately, given my current state, I can only use about twenty or thirty percent of my power, so the increase might be limited,” the Grand Elder explained, acknowledging his weakening condition.

Talot, unconcerned, replied immediately, “That’s fine. As long as it doesn’t shorten your lifespan, even a little help would be great.”

“If that’s the case, then I’ll give it a try,” the Grand Elder said, raising his hand and signaling for Talot to come closer.

Salari looked on with a hint of worry, uncertain of Talot’s plan.

Ragar, however, felt his heart sink.

He knew the Grand Elder’s condition well, and even if it didn’t shorten his life, using this ability would likely worsen his condition.

But before he could intervene, the Grand Elder stopped him using telepathy.

As the Grand Elder placed his large hand on Talot’s head, a strange sensation swept over him—cool, soothing, and as if his entire being was being liberated.

Talot felt as though a shackle had been removed from his body. The constraints that had bound him vanished, and his aura surged out, raging like tangible flames.

Just a moment later, Talot felt an incredibly terrifying power surging within his body, Moreover it was still unceasingly erupting out without control, growing continuously.
