Arceus didn’t really care about what was done with those fruits; in his eyes, they were just recycled waste. However, his indifference didn’t mean that others felt the same way.
Queen’s actions were about shifting the blame. After using his authority to take a batch of modified fruits, he carried out this transaction. If it wasn’t handled properly, he might once again face criticism and disciplinary action.
Having learned many lessons, Queen had gained plenty of experience. To prevent future troubles, he donated a large portion of the money. After all, he had enough money to spend and didn’t want to hoard a fortune that he couldn’t use while living in constant fear.
Once he made those donations, his fruit reselling activities were tacitly accepted. No one paid attention to where those refined fruits actually went.

Kuri, Meowna, and Wolff were experiencing a moment every child looks forward to—their parents weren’t home.
IIt was Setsuna’s work hours, and she was on Zou Island handling matters with her administrative assistants. There was still a long time before she would get off work. Meanwhile, Zeraora went out on a mission, leaving the nine-year-old siblings behind with peace of mind.
Safety wasn’t an issue, but whether the person looking after the kids was reliable was another matter.
“Watch carefully. You need to exhale like this. Namuji Glacier Fang!”
By the seaside in Kuri, Yamato exhaled a Namuji Glacier Fang towards the shore. The frigid Ice Breath formed an ice bridge over the sea; she was trying to teach Meowna and Wolff how to effectively use their abilities.
Although Yamato rarely exercised her brain, no one ever doubted her combat talent. The title of the Beasts Pirates’ third strongest member was already firmly in her hands.
Teaching seemed to have become a tradition within the Beasts Pirates. In the past, she was always on the receiving end of “lessons,” and Kaido never failed to push her to the brink of death.
Now, she has begun teaching others. However, she didn’t use Kaido’s methods; instead, she employed what she considered to be a more reasonable approach.
The mutated Kyurem’s power allowed her control over ice to far surpass that of her in the original timeline. At the end of the ice bridge, two target-like objects appeared.
“Come on, aim at the targets, gather energy into your mouth, and then exhale with all your strength. It’s that simple.”
Under her guidance, a spark immediately exploded on one of the targets. Within the blaze, streaks of lightning flickered. This was Wolff’s unique Thunder Fireball, a combination of his father’s lightning powers and Litten’s flames, culminating in his signature move.
Next to him, Meowna wielded a Thousand Arms made of leaves, which spun like a dart before flying out. This was a Magical Leaf influenced by the power of Aura, making its control even more mysterious.
“Sister Yamato, did you really train like this when you were nine?”
“Yeah, was your training this simple back then?”
Actually, it was Meowna and Wolff who approached her because they had heard that when Yamato was their age, there was no one among her peers who could match her.
“There’s definitely some difference, but this level is enough for you two. Trust me, you wouldn’t like the kind of training I had.”
Using Conqueror’s Haki as a wake-up alarm and facing attacks from who knows where every day. Thinking of what she went through over a decade ago, Yamato feels lucky to be alive.
Shaking her head suddenly, Yamato seemed to recall something terrifying and quickly changed the subject.
“That’s about enough. Oh, right, Dad has a new Divine Blessing Ritual today. Let’s go watch the fun.”
Every time a Divine Blessing Ritual ended, the people who had newly obtained their abilities would typically have a fight. That was the “fun” Yamato was referring to.
The Beasts Pirates as a whole valued martial strength. Kaido himself was a war maniac, and under his influence, many members’ offspring also revered combat. While the All-Stars are out of reach, aspiring to be an ordinary officer was still within their grasp.
When Yamato brought Meowna and Wolff to Onigashima, the bestowment segment had already ended. Amid the cheers of the spectators, a new round of battles had begun.
All around, there were ordinary melee fights involving badgers, tigers, cobras, and antelopes—several artificial Devil Fruit users were in combat.
This was the result of the latest round of internal competition within the Beasts Pirates. Those who managed to rise to the top, like Harper and Rory before them, had gained their own unique abilities. However, their battles paled in comparison to the spectacle at the center—a clash between two newly emerged Blessed Ones.
Dobon, a middle-aged man who looked somewhat weathered and was one of the early members of the Beasts Pirates, had risen again through this new round of internal competition and acquired his ability—Hippowdon.
Briscola, a brawny man with triangular golden hair and his name tattooed on his chest, appeared much more spirited than Dobon. With a leaf clamped in his mouth, he had gained the ability of Pangoro.
……
“Get down already!”
Transformed into Hippopotamus Man, Dobon, opened his massive mouth wide and lunged straight for Briscola. That was Hippowdon’s most powerful weapon—its enormous jaws had an exaggerated biting force capable of crushing even a car into scrap metal.
At the same time, holes on his back were spraying yellow sand, which, under Hippowdon’s power, turned into a powerful sandstorm.
This was also one of Hippowdon’s signature abilities. Its body stored large amounts of yellow sand, which it could shoot out from the holes in its body to create massive tornadoes for attacks.
After Hippowdon was transformed into an ability, releasing this yellow sand became a special ability that drained stamina.
Like ordinary hippos in nature, they didn’t seem particularly frightening. However, when facing a Hippowdon, even Drapion called Sand Demon by people would steer clear from them.
As his opponent, Briscola showed no signs of backing down. With both arms braced against Dobon’s jaws, he struggled to hold his ground.
“Uncle, you’re so old, you should give up your position!”
The large mouth and teeth were Hippowdon’s weapons, while Pangoro relied on its own fists. It was a wild Pokémon that took pride in its arm strength.
Hippowdon could bite a car into scrap metal, and Pangoro could smash it into pieces with its fists. Compared to Dobon, Briscola’s ability wasn’t as flashy, but the explosive power of his body drew cheers from the spectators below.
At first, the two were evenly matched, but as time passed, the terrain gradually became Dobon’s home ground.
Though Dobon was older and his physique wasn’t as strong as his opponent’s, he made better use of the terrain and used time to create his own home ground.
The yellow sand on the ground formed a special Sand Tomb, firmly trapping Briscola’s legs. In the end, he lost this battle of ability demonstration.
