Eggnog resolved a large part of the issues, but some problems still persisted. Both Drunken Dragon Bagua and Gentle Mode required some external aid.
The ideal scenario would be for these two states to be activated directly without external assistance, just like his Dragon Dance Bagua. Drunken Dragon Bagua was still a work in progress, as it was difficult to capture that drunk feeling, but the latter was different.
With more effort, there was still hope. Thus, Queen didn’t completely avoid difficulties and continued to undergo both torment and growth under Kaido’s training. The other officers were in a similar situation, with battles almost non-stop, whether one-on-one or in groups.
Once the renovations on Onigashima were completed, Yamato was dragged back over by Kaido. It seems this would continue for a while, until Kaido’s interest waned.
When that time came, Kaido would likely go out to find the next unlucky target to showcase his enhanced strength. This would temporarily free the officers of the Beasts Pirates.
With the renovations on Onigashima finished, Tinkaton’s work also came to an end for the time being. Without any special tasks, their work involved processing metal. Thanks to the Gigaton Hammer, they could forge metal with greater efficiency than machines.
This was their job. During their breaks, they would group up and stroll around streets, even becoming a unique sight.
Flower Capital, Kojiro’s residence, the butler was outside exercising.
Although Kojiro had moved to Kibi region for convenience, with Emboar and Growlithe living with him, he had residences throughout Wano Country. He was now the undisputed richest merchant in Wano Country.
His position was extremely stable, and no one could shake it. Of course, compared to Tesoro, Kojiro’s wealth was nothing. Even though Beasts Fruits was a company belonging to the Beasts Pirates, Tesoro still gained enormous profits through dividends.
The Tinkatons walked down the street with their large hammers. Seeing this, people chose to get out of the way one after another.
This wasn’t because they were bullies, but because of their status as guardian deities.
To most residents of Wano Country, Tinkaton were the god of forging, so making way for them was natural.
Their massive hammers would often clash together, producing a clear ringing sound. Each Tinkaton carries a small pouch across its chest, filled with oddly shaped metal scraps. These were the “remnants” produced from previous building repairs, and now they had fallen into their hands.
They each had their own monthly metal quota, but most of it was melted into their hammers. It could be said that the Tinkaton’s hammers were constantly being upgraded. If they ate too much, they wouldn’t have enough extra to repair their hammers.
So, the Tinkatons wouldn’t miss an opportunity like this. Carrying their hammers and snacking as they walked, they may be walking randomly, but their destination was clear—Kojiro’s residence.
Before long, they appeared at the end of the street, their pink figures in sight. The butler rubbed his eyes and then hurried back into the home in a panic.
“Master Kojiro! Master Kojiro! The Tinkatons are here again!!”
The butler exhibited an unusually high level of stress, both in his tone and his actions. Unlike the typical Wano Country resident, he seemed to be very afraid of these pink-haired twin-tailed creatures. In fact, it wasn’t him who was afraid, but Kojiro himself, who found these Tinkaton a bit of a headache.
Every time the Tinkatons came around, they acted like bandits descending from the mountains, always wanting to knock something off. If it were just ordinary items, it wouldn’t matter—Kojiro’s vast wealth could easily cover it. Every year, feeding his family’s Little Kai and its offspring was already a considerable expense.
But the problem was, these Tinkatons aimed to knock off parts from him.
Kojiro was also one of the Blessed Ones, with an ability bestowed by Arceus. Coincidentally, his ability was Bisharp.
Bisharp is a powerful Pokémon with impressive resistance and attack power, but he just happened to encounter Tinkaton.
Tinkaton’s habits made them interested in collecting metal, not just minerals but also the steel found on Steel-type Pokémon.
Among the many Steel-type Pokémon, Tinkaton had a particular obsession with the Corviknight and Bisharp families. Corviknight’s feathers and Bisharp’s armor and blades were their favorite things.
When the Corviknights of Onigashima land, they have to be cautious of the Tinkatons. While Arceus’ order prevented the Tinkaton from trying to take down Corviknight, they would still try to pluck a few feathers if given the chance.
There were quite a few Corviknights, and their shed feathers would be given to the Tinkaton. Usually, this wasn’t a big problem, but Kojiro was the only Bisharp in Wano Country, so the Tinkatons had a singular target.
They would use the excuse of sparring to duel with Kojiro in his Ability form, never giving up until they managed to knock something off him.
“Cough cough…they came so quickly this time?”
“Yes, they’re almost at the door. Maybe… you should hide?”
“Forget it, it’s pointless. It’s just a pity for my hair.”
Kojiro touched his hair, feeling like he was soon about to lose his beautiful hair. There are two types of Steel-type Pokémon. The first is the rare type like Tinkaton, which has minimal metal on their bodies and collects metal from the outside.
The second type is the more common Steel-type Pokémon, who naturally have sturdy armor covering their bodies. This armor isn’t a non-renewable resource; it gradually regenerates over time with proper nutrition.
For wild Bisharp, their blades are the same as claws or hair and need regular sharpening. Finding a territory with suitable whetstones is one of the life goals of the Bisharp species.
If their blades couldn’t regenerate, constant sharpening would eventually wear them down.
Kojiro was an Ability User, not a Bisharp, and any damage to his transformed body would reflect on his real body, causing him to go temporarily bald.
In a sense, he was selling his hair to gain a favorable impression. Moreover, this was also an opportunity for him to hone his skills.
Hyogoro, who was a guest in the courtyard, noticed Kojiro’s slightly resigned expression and became curious.
“What’s the matter, Kojiro? Is something troubling you?”
In the current Wano Country, Hyogoro couldn’t imagine anything that could trouble Kojiro.
“Well… you could say it’s a small pleasure in life. If you’re interested, Uncle Hyogoro, you can give me some pointers.”
Interacting with Pokémon can lead to all sorts of strange occurrences—getting poisoned by Weezing, getting shocked by Mareep. These things weren’t uncommon. It was just that what was happening to Kojiro was a bit more peculiar.
Kojiro didn’t carry his sword but walked to the center of the courtyard unarmed, waiting for the Tinkaton to arrive.
