Compared to the flagships of little giants like Jack and Maria, Yamato’s ship could be considered tiny.

Queen had many laboratories within Wano Country: the weapons and chemical lab in Udon, the agricultural lab in Hakumai, and the mechanical lab here in Ringo.

Paleontologists have a certain understanding of biology, and among archaeologists, there are also experts who specialize in researching ships. The library in the new Tree of Knowledge contains a lot of documents on this.
Some of these documents seemed to be about how to make warships, but the sections on propulsion and weapon systems were severely incomplete, making replication difficult. Building according to these plans would likely result in an empty shell of a ship.
The existing propulsion methods would make such a ship very cumbersome. In the dangerous Grand Line, overly cumbersome iron ships had no significant advantage and would be difficult to operate.
However, at Arceus’s request, they still compiled blueprints from the documents and built a metal warship here.
The most challenging aspects of propulsion and control were resolved by Arceus. Under Arceus’ manipulation, this ship was not just an armored ship but a Bio-Warship.
Because the core propulsion of this ship was provided by a Pokémon, a newly created one by Arceus—Revavroom.
Multi-Cyl Pokémon with steel and poison dual type, its appearance resembled a large engine.
Revavroom evolved from Varoom.
Varoom was born when a special poison-type Pokémon inhabited an engine placed in an abandoned factory, transforming into a unique Pokémon.
After this transformation, its steel body became its main form, with its insides functioning like a large cylinder. Upon evolving into Revavroom, the number of cylinders increased to eight, converting rocks it consumed into energy.
Team Star in the Paldea Region modified Revavroom to create a special battlecar, while Arceus used a similar approach to turn Revavroom into the power core of the warship.
Thanks to Revavroom’s abilities, it could easily drive the ship, effectively making it an unconventional steamship.
However, its power was much stronger, and any stone could serve as fuel, and even metals, poison, and alcohol could serve as a reserve energy source in emergencies. Moreover, it’s also much more stable than a steamship.
No need for a complicated boiler crew, just feed it minerals. Revavroom could also serve as the ship’s fire control system, attacking enemies via voice commands.
However, the entire ship’s operation doesn’t rely solely on Revavroom; it also involves the Rotom. Inside, there are many Rotom-style engines, including in the captain’s quarters. By commanding the Rotom, the entire ship can be voice-controlled.
This aspect of the circuitry was modified by Queen, which was why the ship was built here. No one else in the Beasts Pirates could replace him for this task.
“You don’t want to take too many people, so this ship perfectly fits your requirements. Just a few people can operate it, and with your ability to communicate with Pokémon, you could even control the whole ship by yourself.”
Before Arceus could finish, Yamato had already jumped onto her ship, examining it up and down. To her, it was like a huge treasure.
As she explored the different cabins, her eyes sparkled. It was simply a dream warship. If it could transform, it would be even better.
